FC: Scott, Jen & Jack | Scott, Jen & Jack
Hello! We are Scott, Jen & Jack. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and for considering our family. We have truly been blessed and through our struggles with years of infertility and repeated miscarriage, we feel that God has led us toward the path of adoption. We have so much love in our hearts to give and we look forward to growing our family through this blessing of adoption. We can't wait to welcome a new member into our loving family! We will celebrate our 8th anniversary in 2014, and have lived in a quiet northern suburb of Cincinnati for seven years. Scott has been working for the same corporation for 16 years, and I worked for seven years as an elementary physical education teacher and coach. In 2008 we were blessed with the birth of our son, Jack, and my lifelong desire to be a stay-at-home mom became a reality. Jack is a loving, helpful five year old who absolutely adores babies...he's going to be an awesome big brother! We hope that after taking a look at our profile, you will see how loving and caring we are as a family. We love to laugh and enjoy each other's company, whether we're relaxing at home, enjoying the outdoors, or exploring all the fun family activities Cincinnati has to offer. You have made a courageous decision for your baby. You have chosen life. We pray for your peace and comfort and will continue to pray for you. We will teach your baby to pray for you as well. He or she will always know what a selfless choice you have made. Please know that if you choose us as an adoptive family for your child, he or she will grow up in a happy, supportive environment full of faith, respect, and love. Thank you, and God bless! Scott, Jen & Jack
Jen & Scott - We originally met through friends in college and then reconnected 10 years later! In 2006 we married in St. Louis surrounded by friends & family. | Jack came into our lives in 2008, and we have truly enjoyed watching him grow. He's eager to become a big brother and says that he will "tickle and love the baby and help put him/her in the crib"! :)
Our Home! We live on a quiet cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbors. Your child will sleep peacefully in the comfy, cozy nursery (colors can be changed for a girl, of course)! We have a playset in the backyard for the kids (and adults) to enjoy. | We can paint the nursery for a baby girl! | Jack trying to swing higher than Mommy!
Father-son time fishing | Scott & Jack love fishing together, and can't wait to add a new fishing partner to the family! | Downtown Disney - a favorite stop in Florida | Daddy makes a cozy pillow!! | Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day
Scott Through the Eyes of Jen Scott is an energetic, fun-loving, devoted husband and father. When we were dating, I knew he'd be a wonderful, loving dad as soon as I saw him with his young nieces. He knew how to play with them and show affection, and I realized I had a keeper! Scott grew up in a small town in Missouri with his parents and older brother, who now lives in Indiana with his family...so we get to see Jack's cousins quite often! In high school, Scott played football and was also on the wrestling team. He received high grades as well. Scott graduated at the top of his class, earning him the title of co-valedictorian. After graduating college and attaining his master's degree in Engineering, Scott began working for a large corporation, for which he still works today. Though he works hard, he knows how to balance work life and family life, and that's something that I truly admire and appreciate about him! Scott enjoys fishing and the outdoors, and LOVES spending time with Jack and me. Camping, hiking, and even just playing in the backyard are ways we enjoy each other's company. Throughout the miscarriages and struggles with infertility, Scott was the most supportive husband and friend...he's a wonderful father, and I know he can't wait to share his love and energy with a new family member. He really will make an amazing adoptive father!
From trips to the zoo to just reading on the couch, Jen loves spending time with Jack and his cousins. | Dolphin-watching tour in Florida - they swam right behind our boat! | Go Karts in Gatlinburg
Jen Through the Eyes of Scott When I ran into Jen after 10 years, I knew pretty quickly that I wished I'd made my move in college. But I guess better late than never! Her smile really lights up a room, and her loving, caring nature makes her the best wife and mother. I love watching her spend time with Jack, and I know she has so much room in her heart for another child. Jen grew up in St. Louis with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. She's the second oldest of the 5 kids, and I think that's always been a reason for her desire to have a larger family. She loves kids, and that's why after earning a business degree, she went back to school to become a physical education teacher. Despite loving the teaching field, she always told me she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom when we had kids, so once Jack came along, Jen was happy to put work on the back burner. In her free time, Jen enjoys exercise, reading, and playing softball. She also took a photography class and loves taking pictures of Jack, but can't wait to take pictures of a new addition to the family. Being a former teacher, Jen loves reading with Jack and also playing soccer and other sports in the backyard with him and his cousins. The infertility and miscarriages have been difficult for us both, but through it all, Jen's strength and faith in God have been astounding. I know that Jen is eager to add to our family and can't wait to have another child to love.
Jack is quite the entertainer! He loves his cousins...especially his baby cousin Charlotte...he loves kissing her! | Crazy cousins!
Jack Jack is a loving, caring, helpful kid! He really cracks us up...often times we catch him lip-syncing to songs on his cd's while shaking his backside. He'll talk the ear off of anyone who's willing to listen, and if you were to meet him, you'd quickly see how sweet and warm his nature is. Jack turns 6 years old in April of 2014, and is having a blast in kindergarten! His favorite activities include playing t-ball and indoor soccer, as well as going fun places with us...his favorite is probably King's Island. He has three cousins whom he adores. When he finally got to meet his baby cousin Charlotte in November, he was thrilled and was so gentle and loving towards her. Now he can't stop talking about her! He's great with kids his age as well as babies; other parents often remark to us how well Jack plays with their children. Jack is going to make an awesome big brother...his helpful and loving nature will make him the best sibling ever!

Jen's parents are healthy & active - they love spending time with grandkids. Her mom makes homemade buttermilk pancakes with Jack...they're delicious! | Jen has two brothers and two sisters- they are awesome aunts & uncles! Though her sisters live in TX & DC, her brothers are in St. Louis - we all still get together often!
Family Vacations! In 2012 we visited Florida, Kentucky & Tennessee. Here we are visiting the Great Smoky Mountains! | Walt Disney World...we go every spring! | Enjoying the surf in Treasure Island, FL | We met up with good friends at Cumberland Falls, KY

We go to Christmas Eve mass and open gifts on Christmas day.
Jack regularly plays with neighbors Owen & Sadie. Here, our little Yoda gets ready to go trick-or-treating with Luke and Princess Leia. We also have friends who've adopted, so we know what a blessing it is, and we have an amazing support system for us and our kids. | Jack with his best buddy, Chris | Who won the prize for ugliest sweater? | Jen and best friend - Cumberland KY
