FC: Adventures of Life with People I Love
Sometimes we are loving; sometimes we are not. Sometimes we fight and sometimes we get along. However, all in all we are a family that will never, in a million years, fall apart.
Throughout the years she has discovered her true passion. This passion consists of helping anyone and everyone, from little elementary schoolers to 90 year old women.
My mom is great with colors and how they go together. Every Spring and Summer she plants an assortment of flowers. Although they do not consist of Blue Bonnets there is always a variety of color and style. | Speaking of style my mom definitely has her own personal taste of clothing which is unusual for some people but extravagantly beautiful on her.
When I was younger we would go to the zoo and my mom would tell me, "Oh look Olivia, there are your brothers and sisters!" I then would said,"No they are not. My family is you." Now we can say that I do have a sister, who is not a monkey, well maybe.
Throughout the past few years I have had many adventures and blessings. For my 16th birthday I had a tea party with a group of women in a retirement center rather than going and doing something just for me. I got to go to Colorado for a mission trip with the One Voice student choir at Paramount Baptist. | Then this year I was able to go to my first prom.
Although we may fight constantly, bicker over petty little things, and never agree, we love each other more than all the stars in the sky. From birthdays to just every day life, fun and memorable times can be found in every circumstance. "And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:19
For a while we never had any animals because my mom wasn't ready to have any. | However, when we moved out into the country we all agreed to get a cat, Hissyfit, a dog, Esther, and a rabbit named Nick
Most cats and dogs do not get along, well mine do. Esther and Hissyfit love to play together. Esther will bite Hissyfit's ears and he'll meow but still plays along. They are truly an original pair and it just shows that they are a part of our family.
The first time in Austin, Tx was a blast. From learning how to make the yearbook better, being ever so close to the capital building and exploring different areas of Austin it was quite an experience. Oh and can't forget the encounter with the squirrels.
This is a group photo of the students in the Paramount Baptist youth group that went to Bonita Park, NM for church camp. | Baby sea otters, giraffes, and ducks were some animals within the gigantic Colorado zoo. Many times the group that I was with and I found ourselves lost in the jungle.
Colorful bird on his high perch. | Baby lamb hiding in the crevice of the rock. | Maddie the penguin showing off for the crowd watching. | Elephants, flamingos, and monkeys! Oh my! Don't forget about the tucan.!
This year was a great year. My mom's first year actually teaching fourth grade English. Also my first surprise party ever for my 17th birthday. Also meeting two incredible people that have left impressions upon my outlook on life.
Presley and Savannah playing a game of pool at the mercantile at my birthday party. | Finished makeover for my friend Kimberly. My friend Lauren and I at the Amarillo High Homecoming game
Alive, I'm Christ's messenger; dead, I'm His bounty. Life versus even more life! I can't lose. ~Philippians 1:21 MSG
True friends are special and will always be there. Trying times may come but there is always a resolution. | True friends will never leave us nor forsake us just like Christ does.
"Do your work with enthusiasm. Work as if you were serving the Lord, not as if you were serving only men and women." ~Ephesians 6:7 NCV
"God has given gifts to each of you from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow | Working with little kids has always been and will continue to be one of my passions. From Vacation Bible Schools to just meeting them always inspires me and cheers me up.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ~1 Corinthians 13:4 - 7
Although we fight and argue often we love each other more than anything. We are all we have. We support each other, correct each other, teach each other and always love each other no matter the circumstances. Mother and daughters: women for Christ forever and ever.
