 The Everglades
What a great start to our vacation... A trip to the Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. This baby alligator was surprisingly squishy with a whole lot of teeth. Michelle wasn't so into the "holding of it" so we found one in the gift shop for her to hold.
MAKING MEMORIES | Our travel agent booked this excursion for us and somehow we ended up with a personal driver for a good part of the day. When we hopped back in the vehicle he says \'where to next" We were like... the hotel? We ended up going to South beach and had a great time. Something I could definitely get used to.
Live Laugh Love | At lunch I ordered my 1st drink that ended up being a surprising 22 ounces, definitely needed help for this one. Part way through lunch a lamborghini pulled up and out walked a girl wearing a very interesting bathing suit. As crazy as it sounds I think the car was more of a distraction than the girl.
 Dinner Time!
We decided to walk to the movie theater after dinner and were told if we gave blood we would save 3 lives and get a free movie ticket. Michelle and John were the brave ones (and more dutch I guess) so off to the bus they went. The first day of our vacation has been quite an adventure. | "The friends we meet on the path of life make the trip worth while."
BOARDING TIME | BOARDING TIME | BOARDING TIME | BOARDING TIME
Emerald of the Seas | Our Junior Suite
so many | A vacation is having nothing to do, and all day to do it.
LIVE WELL LAUGH OFTEN LOVE MUCH
Survived our first day at sea, we slept in and watched movies on the big screen while we laid at the pool. It was tough, but we survived. We watched Switch and caught the end of Killers Next Up.. Dinner.
Hypnotist Show | Our late night show was a hypnotist named Tim Triplet. He asked for about 20 volunteers to be hypnotized and Michelle was one of them. He got people to do the craziest things, and boy did we laugh.
Our 2nd day at sea to do absolutely nothing. Oh the life... Where ocean meets the sky.
A comedian that loved the Canadians.
 Comedian Carl Strong
Love puts the fun in together, the sad in apart, the hope in tomorrow, the joy in the heart.
I don't wish to be something to everyone, but I would like to be everything to you.
 ARUBA Feb 9th
Horseback Riding | Caco | Sammy
 Mariposa | Minister
Horseback Riding on beach.... What a life.. John and Michelle's horses had a mind of their own. Boy did we laugh.
PALM BEACH | An hour after horseback riding our butts were already getting sore, not a good sign.. We also learned that our frisbee doesn't float.
Dinner Show Hot Tub thats the agenda for tonight. (We figure it will be good for our sore butts too.)
 BIKING IN BONAIRE
Our bike tour was 4 1/2 hours long. They brought us by bus to the start of the trip and then we biked along the coastline. Lots of down and uphill with a few stops along the way. On this island they have free roaming donkeys that we randomly saw along the way. Great weather, and a great time.
Take only Memories, leave nothing but Footprints.
Grenada River Tubing | Explore. Dream. Discover
We docked at noon and had to get on a bus by 12:10. After a 45 minute bus ride we were at our tubing destination. It was interesting learning about the island. When hurricane Ivan came through it wiped out 90% of their nutmeg trees, the main export. They replanted, but it takes 8-10 years for them to produce again, a bit of a setback for the island. | Tubing was lots of fun and the guides made an extra effort to splash and twist us around along the way. Our wonderful husbands even floated to the side of the river and took hootch from one of the workers. Hootch that you had to wash down with water. Crazy... On the way back we got to see nutmeg, cinnamon, coco and banana trees
The most mountainous island in the caribbean. Today were exploring the rainforest by tram and seeing some waterfalls. We had a great tour guide named Leo who gave us lots of island information.
 ITALIAN | NIGHT
After dinner we were off to a comedy show with Al Katz. He was very funny. The show started at 8:15, so Michelle and I did are usual walk on deck 7 and the guys went to the casino. John was even up $300, what a surprise! Then we were off to the hot tub with chocolate covered strawberries that Bernard and Lois sent over. (people we met)
 Sail & Snorkel
 St | Thomas
All Play And No Work | We were told if you pee in the sea you should raise your hand out of respect for the other swimmers. Ha, ha babe. Tour guide: Dana
Another early morning, we were at our catamaran (called the dancing dolphin) by 7:45 and off we went for a half hour ride out to the cove where we swam with the turtles and fish. Within minutes of getting in the water John yelled "stingray" which freak me out a little. My focus was on seeing those turtles. We had an absolutely fabulous time and it definitely helped that we were being fed free alcohol all day (they called them painkillers). After an hour of snorkeling we went to honeymoon bay where we got to have lunch and hang out at the beach. The guys got very talky by the time our excursion was over. After some shopping, it was time to head back to the ship
After dinner we were off to the explorers lounge to watch a juggler. As you can see John ended up on stage, we had front row seats for it all
 Happy Valentines Day!
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Happy 38th Birthday! | What a great day! Today was a day at sea so we got to sleep in and then went for a couples massage. After the massage we got brought into this room that had a shower, steam, a bunch of face cream and mud. We had an hour in there with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. We even managed to set off the fire alarm, I guess we had the steam room door open too long. That was very interesting to say the least. Our next stop was the jewelry store where I got to pick out something for Valentines day. A 1kt diamond white gold bracelet is what we purchased. Then off to the pool for a lazy afternoon.
 Formal Night
HOT TUB TIME | Our last hot tub night.... The guys decided to take the champagne along and it was everyman for himself. We did learn that champagne burns when it gets in your eyes. This was also my last chocolate covered strawberry of the trip. :( and the last night that we walked throughout the ship in our robes. How sad...
The Princess Kays was a very relaxing day. We pretty much just laid around getting whatever sun we could. The food that got delivered to our cabana was enormous, we couldn't finish even half of it. A great last day, tomorrow it's time to go home.
