Families are about love overcoming emotional torture.
A mother's love is instinctual, unconditional, and forever.
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13
Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.
A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace.
You never thought twice about putting yourself second when it came to your children. We always had new clothes and shoes every school year, and you were wearing the same things from five years ago. You would stay up late taking care of us when we were sick even though you were sick yourself. There are an uncountable amount of nights that you stayed up worrying about us. Nothing ever stood in your way when it came to your children. Through sports, school, and church you never faltered in standing by our side to cheer us on. Your love and dedication meant more than anything to us when we could look into the stands and see you smiling after you had worked all day. There were times when we didn't show appreciation, but it meant more than anything to us to have a mother that loved us so unconditionally. Now that we are all grown up, it is hard to not have you by our side in an instant. It is the memories and lessons you taught us that keep you close at heart always. We know you would drop anything to protect us when hardships and trouble come our way. We would have never grown into such beautiful adults had we not had such an amazing mother. The character and morals you taught us have shaped who we are today. It is our wish that you can continue to grow in your own happiness. Hell and high waters came your way and we want nothing more than to see your beautiful smiling face. Seeing you unhappy breaks our hearts. The woman that gave so much to us deserves joy and hope. We will always be your adoring children. There will never be enough words to describe the role model you have been to us. We will love you forever and always, Mom. ~Josh, Sonja, Justin, Mandy, & Caylee | To: Our Amazing Mother
Your arms were always open when I needed a hug. Your heart understood when I needed a friend. Your gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson. Your strength and love has guided me and given me wings to fly.
