he snow fell gently all the night. It made a blanket soft and white. It covered houses, flowers and ground But did not make a single sound | The world stood still today as businesses, schools, and malls were closed. Tom didn't go into work. There were several feet of snow on the ground and the media dubbed it the "Blizzard of 2011". The sun shined this day making it a perfect day to be outside. The Murphy's came down and everyone had a blast snowboarding in the front yard! Kelly spent hours snow blowing everyone's driveways! It turned out to be the perfect winter day. | T

A | Addy lost her first tooth! | ddy lost her first tooth on Valentines Day at the YMCA. When I went to pick her up she was nervously sitting as not to move. Her tooth was literally hanging out of her mouth. It took some coaxing, but she finally let me "Look" at it. Addy cried hysterically when I pulled her tooth out. All the teachers and kids in the KidZone clapped for her. After a little time to let it sink in and a few minutes of looking at herself in the mirror, she became excited for the Tooth Fairy to come. Avery let her have one of her tooth boxes and we made a big deal about her losing her first tooth. Unprompted, Avery wrote a note for the Tooth Fairy. Addy seemed too little to be losing teeth at 4 years old! As luck had it, she lost another tooth only days later and by the end of the year, she'd lost a total of 7 teeth!!! | A
We spent a week in Florida with the Wooden family. We went to Disney World--Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We spent time at Downtown Disney and took the girls on their first trip to the ocean

 Church Pictures
This spring we had our pictures taken for our church directory at Rockford United Methodist Church
 8 | Already!
It was Sunday and the Kelley Triplet's first communion and celebration. Mom had to work but secretly worked out a deal to get out early and I surprised the rest of the family in South Haven. We had a wonderful day filled with lots of family and friends! We got to sing Happy Birthday to Avery....and about 7 other people. Sadly, this is the last time we would see Katrina as her soul would ascend into heaven only a month later. I wish I had gotten a picture of her on this day. Love the ones who mean the most to you and make the most of every moment with them.
 May 1 | Katrina
Some of our favorite pictures taken for the girls' birthdays by JC Penney
 Relay For Life
It is our yearly event to attend Rockford's Relay for Life. What an awesome event to help raise money for cancer research, treatment, and care. Our neighborhood has a tent where we hang out. The guys grill and we sell hot dogs, pop, and other homemade goodies. This year's theme was "Birthday". It was all about being able to celebrate another birthday which, for some with cancer, may not be possible. Addy had the honor of selling our homemade bracelets. She did a great job selling to all the people walking around the track. Who can resist buying from that cutie face?! We almost never saw Avery, for she is so old and so popular that she spent all of her time running around with her friends!
 Happy Birthday, Adisyn
Everything's been different, All the day long. Lovely things have happened, Nothing has gone wrong.
Present Excitement!! | Nobody has scolded me, Everyone has smiled. Isn't it delicious To be a birthday child? | Happy 5th | Birthday | Adisyn
Katrina Kelley Pranger passed away unexpectedly on June 8th, 2011 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was 39. Katrina was born October 9, 1971, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, to Russell and Candice Kelley. Katrina attended and graduated from Cadillac High School in 1989. A woman of many talents and unnerving confidence, Katrina enjoyed success in many careers. Katrina's infectious personality and smile had the ability to bring laughter and comfort to any situation. By nature, she welcomed anyone and everyone believing in the best and bringing out the very best in each of them. While she enjoyed bike riding, swimming, tennis and gardening, she enjoyed nothing more than to just 'hang out' with the people she loved. In 2005 she reunited with a lifetime friend, Shane Pranger. She met her match in humor, wit and tenacity. They married in 2006 and began to live out a love that so many dream of having. Katrina & Shane enjoyed exploring the small towns of Northern and West Michigan like Glen Arbor, Northport, Charlevoix, Grand Haven and South Haven. They also spent much of their time visiting family and loving their dogs. Katrina's favorite role as wife was matched only by her love of being "Aunt Katrina," Mama to her puppies, Keeley and Finley, and being a faithful and encouraging friend to all who knew her. Unwavering in spirit and kindness, Katrina was a diamond in the rough, a rare gem, not easily found, and never replaceable. Katrina's life motto was, "You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have." We honor her today in hopes of embracing that same strength as we continue on this journey without her. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Monday June 13, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac, Michigan with Rev. Fr. Santiago Hoyumpa as celebrant. Her final resting place will be Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
After a difficult day reluctantly saying goodbye to Katrina, the kids all went back to Geema and Geepa's house. Geepa took them on tractor rides, they rode bikes, explored the land, and played. Everyone would come to the house that evening for a family gathering, dinner, bonfire, and a party in remembrance of | Katrina
To help celebrate Addy's birthday, we spent the day at the zoo with our friends Annette, Jamie, Blake, and Elle Schmitt. Adisyn had the, "Best day EVER!" and was super excited that they got her the new Justin Bieber movie! The kids got to go on their first camel ride!
June | School's out and we headed south! To South Haven to spend a few days with our favorite family before they left South Haven for good. We loved staying in this beautiful house and wondering around the town for a few days. We sure will miss them living in this town...we have many years of memories here....
Happiness is meant to be shared | Addy and Karson
We wandered around town and enjoyed Harborfest. The kids each picked out a new hat that they sported for the day. They each also got to get a slushie which Addy mostly wore! We then walked to the beach and had fun playing in the lake and on the sand. What a perfect start to the summer!
Good Friends are God's way of taking really good care of us.
 Explore Nature
Kiddie pools, barbecuess, drinks, a parade, sparklers, two fireworks shows... We had to spend this georgous Monday, the Fourth of July, at Grandma's house. It was the best fireworks show ever!! And, we had a front row seat!

A Happy Family is but an Earlier Heaven
 July 19
July 20 | It was family day at Lake Michigan
The girls look forward to our annual trip to Michigan's Adventure. Avery was finally tall enough to ride ALL the rides and even went on the upside-down rollercoaster, the Thunderhawk, which made both Mom and Dad feel ill! Of course, the waterpark is our very favorite part of the park!

 August | 3
In South Haven we explored, shopped, and ate at Clementines for lunch, and The Thirsty Perch for dinner
e had a blast playing on the beach on this super windy day. The pier helped keep the H U G E waves down. On the other side of the pier the waves were treacherous! Avery and Grandma had the best time playing in the waves with the inflatable boat. | W
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset near the South Haven Pier. Before going home we had to get Papa some of his lakeshore favorite... Gelatto!
onight we brought Grandma and the girls to the Grand Rapids Symphony Picnic Pops at Cannonsburg. It was a perfect summer evening. Some friends there with us were Fred, Diane, Todd Suzor, and Pam. The girls had fun at the instrument petting zoo where they tried lots of different instruments. The evening was a tribute to the music of one of our favorite artists, Michael Jackson. The performer came off the stage and into the dance floor with Addy and he sang and danced. Addy jumped up and down and screamed, "Dat's da first time I ever saw Michael Jackson!!" We didn't bother to crush her by telling her that it wasn't actually Michael Jackson! | Friday, August 5 | T

ool arty | P P | Thanks Kim Reale for lending the pool!
 Full Blast
We spent the day in Battle Creek at "Full Blast". The place was right in the middle of the city and the kids all had a blast! Addy's favorite part was the trampoline. She was always in line to get on the trampoline so she could jump high and do flips. It was a super hot day and this was the perfect place to spend it. It was so hot...105 degrees...that we had to be in the water all the time just to tolerate the heat.
each ay | B D | Today we spent the day in South Haven at the beach with our S.Haven friends. The kids all had a blast playing together. They all went into the water until we heard about the rip current warnings. There were too many of our kids in the water...we couldn't keep track of them! Avery and Teaghan had fun playing in the waves with their new boogie boards. The day ended with all of the kids working together to make big sand "houses".
 Labor Day Party
We had a fabulous end of the summer party at Shayne's beautiful house on the lake. Lynn took the girls out on the Jet Ski and they had a great time--even when she "Crashed" in the lake! Avery really took to kayaking. Somehow Addy ended up driving the pontoon when we were all on it! We stopped the boat and the kids had a blast jumping off the boat into the lake. They enjoyed the hot tub as the sun set. They found and named a very tiny turtle that they played with all afternoon. We laughed, watched football, drank, cooked out an the grill, swam, listened to music, took a group pontoon ride...all the things that make summer so great. We were sad to see it end!
Everyone boarded the pontoon for a dusk cruise and some fun. Addy's favorite part was driving the pontoon...and we didn't even crash! The kids loved running and jumping off the end of the boat. Kasey was the guy to fish them all out of the water so they could do it again, and again, and again. We figured the kids could use a bit more exercise, so we kicked them all off the boat and made them swim home! After the swim they all jumped into the hot tub. | Fire up the pontoon!
It's the end of the summer. It's the end of it all. Those days are gone, it's over now, we're moving on.
Summer is ending. It's now September and these moments we'll always remember.
rt rize | A P | Grandma and Papa took the day off of work to spend it with us at ArtPrize. We were downtown for 12 hours! We spent the morning together before Kim Reale came and picked up Addy for the rest of the day which turned out to be a great choice because she was already tired of ArtPrize by noon! We took Avery out of school for the day. We had a great lunch at One Trick Pony and a fabulous dinner at the B.O.B. It was so great to see the city so alive! Even at 9pm on a Wednesday the streets were filled with people all having a great time. There was so much we didn't even see! What a fantastic event. We hope to make this an annual event.

 elcome | W | Ginger Orlie!
This year someone new came to the house. The girls wrote to Santa asking for a "Elf on the Shelf". Early December, Santa delivered our elf, Ginger Orlie. The girls were thrilled with her! Every morning they bounded out of bed to search for where Ginger would be perched. She went back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa, when she returned in the morning she picked a new hiding spot to watch the girls' behavior. She even brought back a present a few times! The girls could often be seen standing under Ginger talking to her. They would tell her their Christmas wishes, brag about how good they'd been, or just give her a message to tell Santa. Ginger even found us at Grandma's house! What a magical season it was to share with Ginger.
Frankenmuth | The girls and I took Xanther and Grandma and took off to spend the day in Frankenmuth. We enjoyed a huge family style meal at the Bavarian Inn. After lunch we did some shopping. (We always love looking at all the dolls in the toy store downstairs) We went to Bronner's and also shopped at Birch Run. We had dinner out before returning to Grandma's house that night. This was a very rare winter because there hadn't been ANY snow yet! There wouldn't be any until January....next year! | December 21
