1: The Great Migration is about people in the south that wants to leave the south for better jobs and life. The people who went still faced the same thing in the north | The Prohibition is about people who wants to ban alcohol because when people drinks alcohol crimes happens. That why the 18th amendment was made.
2: This is a time when poetry changed the country They created music that was inspiring to others. | Bootleggers made and sold illegal alcohol to people. They also bribe cops and judges not to put them in jail.
3: Phones were the new technology. They made it better for communication. | The radio was for weather and music to keep the family entertained. The radio also help for with news updates on people.
4: Airplanes and automobiles were transportation for people to travel. Transportation was also used for people who wanted to move away from the south
5: Water pump was used to get water . This helped reduced labor work. | The stove help women cook food without the need of making a fire. It also helped reduced labor
6: People move to the north because of better jobs and free of discrimination. It didn't go so well for the people who moved to the north
7: Prohibition is when people banned alcohol so crime can stop but people still drunk it anyway. They made the 21st amendment to repeal the law. | The 21st amendment stopped prohibition and people started to drink again . Crimes started again
8: Duke was a well known Jazz composers. He also worked with Louis Armstrong. | f | Bessie is a Blues singer. She was part of the Harlem Renaissance.
9: Georgia O'Keeff'e is an artist known for urban scenes. She also has good paintings of flowers. | F. Scott Fitzgerald is a novelist who wrote about the jazz age in 1930's. He also wrote a book called The Great Gatsby.
10: The Great Depression was when the stock market crashed. People lost their jobs and homes. This was a sad time because they didn't have any money to provide for their family.
