1: Inocente Ramirez with son Doroteo and granddaughters Rafaela, Gertudes and Stenislado Ramirez.

3: Inocente Ramirez, was born approximately 1845 in Nuevo Laredo or Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Story has it that he was an orphan but is known to have had a brother named Cosme. He was a cattle rancher/farmer in Fort Stockton, Texas. The size of his ranch was about 640 acres. However, the exact amount of cattle is unknown, but it would be safe to assume he had several, as he registered a brand in Fort Stockton, Texas on March 1, 1882. Church records indicate that Inocente was 100 years old at his death , but the United States Census of 1880 shows his age was 87. He died, April 22, 1932 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was reported missing by his son Doroteo. Doroteo organized a search party where they first came across his cane, his coat, and then found his body in an area called Dark Boxed Canyon.

5: Inocente Ramirez and Crescencia Sosa married in 1870. Crescencia was born approximately 1853 as indicated by the United States Census of 1880 where they show her age at 27. Story has it that she too was orphaned from the Nuevo Laredo/Nuevo Leon, area. It is estimated that she married Inocente about 1870. They had nine children together : Pedro 1872 - 1964 : Married Evarista Carrion. They are both buried in Visalia Ca Andres 1874 - 1904 : Married Manuela Guerra. Lorenza 1878 - ? : Married Carmen Rascon in 1899 Doroteo 1879 - 1944 : Married Paula Gonzales in 1898. Sinforoso 1881 - 1941 : Married Maria Johnson 1912 in Carlsbad, NM. He died in a car accident in 1941 in Roswell, NM. Vidal 1883 - 1983 : Married Teodora Bazan He is buried in Santa Clara, Ca. His WWI draft registration card shows that he farmed for himself in Carlsbad, NM. Gregorio 1885 - ? : He married twice, his first wife was Tomasa Dominguez, and his second wife was Macaria Petra and Paula 1887 : Died at infancy (Twins) There were three sets of twins born to this family. ~ Petra and Paulo born to Inocente & Crescencia ~ Maria Luiz and Maximina born to Lorenza & Carmen ~ Francisco amd Paulito born to Sinforoso & Maria

6: Doroteo, was the fourth of nine children born to Inocente Ramirez and Crescencia Sosa. He was the first child to be born in the United States. He was born in Fort Stockton, Texas on February 6, 1879. He died September 9, 1944 at the age of 65 in Socorro, Texas. He and Paula were married in Otis, New Mexico. The United States Census of 1920 shows that they lived in New Mexico. Paula Gonzales, (Pabla) not much is known of her, she died approximately 1921 and is said to be buried in Fabens or Tornillo, Texas (the exact location is unknown). Her parents were Eugenio Gonzales and Celsa Rodriguez; they were married December 24, 1878 in Pecos, Texas. Doroteo & Paula had eleven children.

8: Rafaela (Fila) was born October 28, 1899 in Barstow Texas. She Married Rafael Perez, September 20, 1920 (This is your Grandmother) | Gertudes (Tula) was born November 15, 1900 in Barstow, Texas. She died March 7, 1922 of pneumonia in Carlsbad, New Mexico at the age of 21 | Stanislada (Lala) was born November 13,1902 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She married Juan Valdez. Lala lived in Santa Ana, Ca. Died October 7, 1996

9: Apolonaria (Pole) was born Jan. 26, 1917, in Carlsbad, NM. She had one son with Miguel Apodaca (unclear if they were married). She did however, marry Jose Ramos Rios and had 3 children. She died in 2003, in Santa Ana, CA. | Apolonia (Nona) was born May 1, 1919 in Carlsbad, NM. She married Raul Z. Carmona. They had 14 children. She died Oct. 14, 2008. She was the last one of her siblings to pass away.

10: Maria Magdalena (mere) was born July 10, 1911 in Carlsbad, NM. She married twice, first to Cristobal Minjares. Second husband, Huero Navarette. She died Jan. 3, 1992. She had 5 children. | Candelaria (Cande) was born Feb 2, 1913 in Otis, NM. She married Alejandro Hernandez. They had 3 children. She died May 9, 2005. | Dorotea (Teno) was born Feb. 6, 1915 in Otis, NM. She married Ramon Duran. They had 4 children. She died June 1 1974.

11: Porfidia (Pila) was born September 15, 1904 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She Married Augustine Lujan. She Died June 11, 1928 | Pilar (no picture) was born October 12, 1906 in Otis, New Mexico. She never married. She died June 11, 1926 at the age of 20. | Casimiro (Cachi) was born March 4, 1909 in Loving, Texas. The only boy out of 11 children. He died July 7, 1972 (also known as "thumbs")

16: Rafaela Ramirez & Rafael Perez | What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel they are joined for life – to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.

17: Rafaela and Rafael Perez were married September 20, 1920. They live in Carlsbad, NM. Rafaela give birth to Maria Elena Perez on August 18, 1921. Rafaela died in child birth, and it appears that she had her baby at home because Maria Elena has a delayed birth certificate.

18: Rafaela Ramirez and Rafael married and had a baby girl on August 18, 1921 and they named her Maria Elena Perez. Rafaela died at child birth (burial ground unknown). When Maria Elena was 8 or 9 Rafael remarried and her name was Monica Martinez. They had a child together and they named her Eunice. Rafael died a year later, for reasons unknown. Eunice died when she was 14. In 1939, Maria Elena would have been 18 came to live with Stanislada and Juan Valdez. This is Rafaela sister and brother-inlaw. She lived there until she married Eloy Miranda. Eloy was a foreman that worked the crops. They had 4 children together. Maria Elena disappeared around 1947. Some say she ran off and others say she was murder.

21: Eloy Miranda. Born In Mexico November 30, 1911 Died January 22, 1995. He was the only son of xix daughter. Parents Julio Miranda and Cenona Calderon Sisters: Josephine 1912, Viola 1913, Mary 1918 Rosa 1920, Cruz 1922 Antonia 1924
