17: Steven Donald Rice | February 23, 1982 | Grandma & Grandpa, Some of my fondest memories growing up were of the two of you, from the family trip to Disney World and my visit to Phoenix. I couldn't wait for you to return in the summer and hated to see you leave in the fall, it always felt that time went by too quick. Grandma, you're apple pie is truly the best ever. Grandpa, you were the first to teach me to use a computer. Congratulations on your 60th wedding anniversary, I know it has taken plenty of hard work for you both to make it this long. You have created a great family that never ceases to impress me, for that I am proud and most grateful. My hope is to carry on the Rice family name for generations to come. Our family is truly amazing!! Thank You and I Love You! Love, Steven
18: Brian Arthur Collins | Dear Grandma and Grandpa: Congratulations on 60 Amazing Years! I can only hope that my future holds the same Love and Happiness the two of you have shared for so long. When I think of you being there as I grew up, I am always drawn back to Sodus Point. It was a place us grandkids could enjoy and remember the memories for years to come. We always knew Grandpa would be sitting on the couch watching the Orioles and cheering for Cal Ripken Jr. while Grandma was busy making all of us kids lunch and always checking on her iced tea out in the sun to make sure it was just right. Those road trips we used to make to the Toronto Skydome and the Baseball Hall of Fame will always be remembered. Whether it was all the grandkids gone for the weekend or just Grandpa, Steven and I, those are the memories that always make me smile. In my mind particular I will never forget the Christmas I received my first Rochester Youth Hockey Jacket from both of you. Then,12 years later, the excitement and nervousness of making it to the Pee Wee Hockey Nationals in Chicago, and having both of you surprise us and show up there for the Tournament was great. I Thank You for everything you have done for me growing up and it was both of you that helped to shape me into what I have become today. Again Congratulations on 60 years together and we all look forward to the many years still to come. Love , Brian | March 2, 1983
