BC: With Love 2010 Melanie McLaughlin
FC: Jeanne Claire Riendeau
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. From The Wonder Years
Jeanne Claire Riendeau After a short battle with cancer passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 3rd, 2010 at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband Arthur of 48 years, her son James Riendeau (Lori), daughter Joann Choffy, and two grandchildren Matthew Riendeau and Melanie McLaughlin (Stephen). Jeanne loved to travel especially to the beaches of Mexico. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating and camping. We are all thankful she was here for the holidays and she will be greatly missed. Honoring her wishes she will be cremated and her services will be private.
Art Riendeau: Honey, You were the most caring, thoughtful, loving and most beautiful mother and wife a husband can ever ask for. You'll forever be in my thoughts, my prayers and my heart. My Love. My Angel.
You're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on. Celine Dion | Jeanne and Marcel Laflamme: Friendship like Jeanne’s will be treasured forever. We have been friends since Elementary School and then came Marcel and Roger our wonderful husbands and then our wonderful children. Our friendship continued even though our lives were separated by many miles. Every time the two Jeanne’s got together their was always some giggling involved. Jeanne we miss you so much and you will be in our hearts forever.
Joann Choffy: Mom, I love you and will miss you forever. My heart is broken. I am thankful you are at peace and no longer suffering. Your loving daughter. | James Riendeau: Mom, thank you for everything in my life. Thank you for loving my family.Thank you for all the great times in Cancun and Rocky Point. Thank you for showing us how to have strength and courage in times of adversity and illness. Most of all thank you for being my MOM. I love you and miss you deeply.
Sue & Mike Black: Grandma Jeanne will be deeply missed by us here at the Black house. Jeanne “adopted” our son Andy as 1 of her own. That is how big her heart is. Her love for her family was never-ending. She spoke lovingly about her 2 cherished grandchildren..Mel & Matt. I know she will always be within our hearts & that she would have wanted us to take something positive from this experience. She was a fine example of a wife, mother, grandmother, friend & neighbor!! Our thoughts & prayers are with the family. Mike & Sue Black | When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. -Author Unknown
Gisele Cote: Jeanne, (my loving sister) I miss you so much! You were “one of a kind” always helpful, thoughtful, and kind, and always to be there and help us out. We miss you much!!! Our love for you will never fade. | Emily Crough: Dear Uncle Roger and family: We are deeply saddened by Aunt Jeanne’s death. She was truly an angel who took care of everyone, especially my Mom when we couldn't be there. It doesn't seem right that she is gone, but I’m sure she is still watching over everyone. Love and peace, Emily and Tim
Bob & Yvette Godin: Jeanne, the most caring and giving person we ever knew. You are sorely missed and are in out thoughts everyday. I will never forget when you called me to see how I was when you were so ill. There will never be another Jeanne (my loving sister) so compassionate, caring, loving. Just downright the very best! We love you, and we will never forget you. | What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
Steve McLaughlin: Grandma, I only knew you for a short time, but you made a HUGE impact on my life. Thank you for your kindness and welcoming me to your family. I am grateful and proud to have known such an amazing person as yourself. Rest Well. Steve | Lindsay Owen: Thank you, Jeanne, for always making me feel like part of the family, and for treating me like a granddaughter. You were the best grandmother that anyone could ask for (I know Melanie agrees.) I’ll always remember playing Mexican train on family nights, your infectious laugh and great smile. To the family: My thoughts are with you and If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. Jeanne will always stay with you in all the wonderful memories that you have of her.
Bob & Pauline: Sister-in-law (not hardly), Sister – Best Friend – are titles which hardly cover it. We shared the “beaches” of Mexico and so much more. Our hearts would break if it weren't for the fact that Jeanne would never put up with that for long. Go on, move on, have fun – these are the things that SHE would most want for all of us.AND..SHE wouldn't tolerate any less. We will always “see” her laugh with “her toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a worry for tomorrow, cold beer in my hand, life is good today!” excerpt from the Zack Brown Band. Roger (aka) Arthur (we will let him explain) we are here and we share the loss. We may find comfort in “dividing” up among us all! Your SIs and Bro P & B
Lori Riendeau: Jeanne-You were the best mother in-law I could have ever dreamed for. I am going to miss you terribly, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. I thank you for your son Jimmy, my husband. May you now rest in peace and comfort. I love you. Lori
Life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
Kelly Loeffler: I’m so sorry for your loss. Even though I didn't know Jeanne personally, I do know Joann and Melanie and they are both wonderful people. Jeanne did a wonderful job raising Joann – and Joann in raising Melanie. They will both truly miss their Mother and Grandmother. | Crystal House: Jeanne, Thank you for always being so welcoming. Your home, your family dinners, I always felt like I belonged. You were always there to support Melanie and I know you helped make her a stronger person. You have been in my thoughts and I am glad that you are a part of my life.
Someone so special... ...can never be forgotten.
Max & Isabel: Jeanne, was a dear friend and neighbor. We will always keep her in our hearts. We will keep Art and the kids in prayers. | Crystal: Wow I have known Jeanne since I was a little girl when Melanie lived with her and Art I lived just a few houses down the street. Our love with be with you forever. Crystal

Steve & Julie Riendeau: Aunt Jeanne – We really enjoyed the time we had together in Arizona in 1999 when we stayed in our motor home in your yard and the times you came back to New England after that. We are really happy for the time we could spend together and for your hospitality & kind words. We certainly didn’t see you as often as we would have liked to and will miss you greatly. With All Our Love, Steve & Julie | The Peckham Family: We don’t have to tell you what a wonderful person Miss Jeanne was. We will miss our talks, the wisdom we gathered from her, the encouragement she always was to each of us. We will miss the coffee time around the table, the garage sales, and how she was always the inspiration for the neighborhood to get out and get those weeds picked! She will always be a memory of love and smiles to us. A perfect example of selflessness. We miss you so much, Miss Jeanne, we love you! | Germaine (Neel) Miller: Art, Jimmy, Joann and family, So sad to hear of Jeanne’s passing. My heartfelt condolence to you all.
Melanie: Granny, You were my best friend and meant the world to me. You are greatly missed but I will love you forever. I couldn't have asked for a better grandmother! I love you, Mel
A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace. Jeanne was our love and grace.
