When living on 12th Ave SW, we played at Highland Park and attended Highland Park Elementary School.
The wading pool at Highland Park We discovered that it was built in 1937. Older than us!
"The pool and backstop are over 50 years old!...I only got to be on the team because Dad was a coach!"
Look at this field! I played Little League here about 45 years ago.
To Kevin, the field at Highland Park looked small. | To Kathy, the field looked big like in our childhood.
Kevin was fascinated with Highland Park and the school. | Karen and Kathy thought that some of the boards on the bleachers looked like the original ones.
 Denny Jr High
Like branches on a tree, our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.
We had picnics at Lincoln Park. | At Green Lake we walked, biked, roller skated, and watched fireworks.
