We are Kenny and Angela and are excited at the opportunity to share our lives and ourselves with you though this book. We cannot begin to imagine how difficult taking this path might be for you, and we can only hope that our book might provide some encouragement and hope as you travel this way. Should you decide to know more about us, we can only pray that it will result in a life – long answer to prayer for all of us.
Our Story We met May 2006 by a mutual friend in Illinois (where we both grew up). It only took us four days to decide we wanted to be exclusive. Kenny proposed June 2007 (picture on top left was the night we got engaged) and we got married October 2008. We found out September 2010 we have under a 1% chance of having children biologically. Having children was discussed pretty early on and has always been part of our conversations. It has also been a factor in making decisions from what type of vehicles we drive to where we live. Because of the adopted people in our lives we feel strongly that adoption is a wonderful way to start our family.
More About Us God has blessed us with so much. We have so many wonderful friends, a strong faith, stable relationship, an awesome church, lots of laughs and so many things we are grateful for. We truly enjoy the time we spend together and share the same morals, beliefs, and values. It is important to us that we are on the same page and connect with each other. We understand raising a child is a big responsibility and are looking forward to the challenges ahead. We complement each other well. We both love and respect each other's differences and help each other. We see our marriage as teamwork.
Kenny By Angela | Hobbies | - Golf - Biking - Hiking - Grilling - Working Out - Spending time with friends | Kenny is a wonderful husband. I know he will be a great father one day because he is a great listener, is very loving, and thinks about the best interest of our relationship and future family. Kenny is my best friend and I can honestly say I love him more each day than the day before. He makes up for the areas I lack in while encouraging and supporting me along the way. I can't wait to see him as a father and to parent along side him.
"" | Angela is the most thoughtful and caring person I know. I feel very blessed in life to have so much respect, friendship, and love with Angela. When I think of her as a parent, it gives me great comfort that she has a lot already figured out. Her strong will, quick mind, and willingness to make sacrifices for others will make her a terrific parent. | Hobbies | - Tennis - Spending time with friends - Cooking and baking - Reading - Hiking - Bike Rides | Angela By Kenny
Our House We live at the end of a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by woods. About nine deer dine regularly in our back yard. Neighborhood kids often play basketball and other sports in front of our house on the street. We may feel like we live in the country but actually live in a city with all of the amenities. We picked where we live because of the top-rated school district and great location. We are five minutes away from a mall, lots of grocery stores, and most important, it's a very family-oriented place to live with many fun activities. Our church is a five minute drive and we look forward to having our child active in the great programs church has to offer. We love having friends over and our closest friends live nearby. Our house has two stories and a finished basement. On the first floor it has the kitchen, family room, dining room, bathroom, and living room. The basement has our laundry room and additional space to watch tv and play. The upstairs has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Traditions We have a lot of traditions. It is important to us that all holidays are spent with both sides of the family. Our home is always decorated for each season. Every winter we go ice skating. In the fall we go to a local pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins to carve. We go on a hay ride and we also go apple picking. Once we take the apples home Angela makes homemade apple pie and cobbler. Spring and summer mean swimming, bike rides, hiking, vacations, downtown for fireworks, going to the farmer's market, etc. Birthdays are big in our house. We have breakfast in bed for the birthday person. They get to request what they would like the night before (anything goes). Weekends we like to make big breakfasts together. We look forward to sharing these traditions and starting new ones.

"Our Plan We are committed to offering our child a life of unconditional love and constant nurturing. We believe that he or she should always know and feel your love, and we will do everything we can to make sure of that. We want our child to always know he/or she is adopted. We also want our child to feel comfortable asking questions about adoption and about you and your family history. We would be interested in keeping contact with you but should you decide for it to be a closed adoption, we respect your decision. We would love to send you pictures, videos, and emails over the years, in addition to visits should you be interested. The child will be blessed with so many people loving him or/her. It is important to us for our child to be raised in a stable, loving, Christian environment. Both of us will be hands- on parents. Whatever the child is interested in we will support and accept the child. We also have a wonderful support system with friends who have adopted their children, Angela's cousins who are adopted, supportive friends, and extended family.
