Dear Birth parent, Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and starting the process of getting to know us. Words cannot express the respect and admiration we have for you and the decision you are making. The gift of adoption is the ultimate act of profound love and selflessness. We are excited and eager to adopt. A child would be loved, protected, celebrated and surrounded by family and friends that would nurture them throughout their life. All children are gifts and you would be giving us the greatest gift imaginable by adding to our family.
1993 we meet for the first time. | 1994 getting to know each other | 1995 we get married! | Our Story | We met by happenstance. We were both out to lunch with some friends and Kim's brother (John) also happened to be at the same restaurant. John and I previously worked together and were friends, so I asked him to introduce us. It only took a few dates for us both to realize there was a connection. We liked doing the same things, we had very similar interests and we genuinely enjoyed each other's company. We dated for two years before marrying. The first several years of our marriage we focused on building our life together. We bought our first house, we each started new jobs, we traveled some and just enjoyed being married. | 2000 Keeneland
2002 Hawaii | 2011: We decide to pursue adoption after trying to have a baby for 8 years. | When planning our family, we always discussed the possibility of adopting a child; even before we realized we were unable to give birth. After trying to have children for several years, we finally started the process of adoption. As you may imagine our journey has been filled with many emotions. While we are hopeful that we will one day get to experience the joy of parenting a child, we also recognize the enormous sacrifice associated with such a generous, selfless, expression of love. | 2006 Disney
First and foremost, Steve is my very best friend! I was drawn to Steve because of his morals and values (and he was pretty cute too). He has a kind and generous soul. Steve never meets a stranger. He has the wonderful ability to find something in common with everyone he meets. He is very sentimental and cherishes keepsakes given to him by close friends and family members. He loves all kinds of music and enjoys going to car shows and riding motorcycles. | Steve by Kim | Steve and Parker
Steve is a great cook and will surprise me with a candlelight dinner from time to time. He also leaves love notes for me to find. I never know where one might turn up; on my pillow, in my lunch bag or on the bathroom mirror. I know Steve will make a wonderful father. He is so thoughtful and patient and has a heart that is overflowing with LOVE. | Scuba Steve | Steve's Ducati | Russell & Steve | Elephant Ear jungle!
Kim is my best friend and the love of my life. God has blessed me with a wonderful partner. She has a soft heart and gentle nature. I love her ability to see the good in almost all things. She is definitely an optimist. Kim is focused and well organized and strives to succeed in all things. She brings a calmness to almost any situation and together, we make a wonderful team. | Kim, by Steve | Our visit to Disney | Fun on our first cruise

Kim is actually much better with home improvements than me! She loves kids and is a great aunt to our niece and nephew. I know she will be a wonderful mom. | Play time at the doggie pool | Kentucky is horse country

We are both blessed to still have our parents. We spend time with both of our families regularly and sometimes we ALL get together to celebrate birthdays or just to grill out on a pretty day. One thing both of our parents have in common is they want the very best for us and above all they want happiness for us. Steve is an only child, with a large extended family. Both his Mom and Dad have numerous brothers and sisters. He grew up visiting family often and has close relationships with many of his cousins. We enjoy watching UK basketball and professional football games on TV while cooking and visiting with one another. | Steve's parents (Quentin and Ella)
Kim has one brother (John) who is 11 months older than she is (she was a "surprise"). Kim and her brother have always been very close and continue to be. John has two children, Alex and Johnny whom we love to spoil. Kim's father has a brother and sister and Kim's mother is from a large family; she is the oldest of 12 children. Needless to say Kim has a ton of aunts, uncles and cousins! The yearly family Christmas party is humongous. | Steve's Aunts and Uncle | Kim with her parents and brother

Our home sits on five acres just outside the city. It is our second home since we were married. We were fortunate to be able to find property we loved and design a home that fit our needs. 18: Parker is our precious puppy. In addition to being handsome, he is lovable, cuddly and very smart! Everyone that meets Parker adores him, especially kids! He has been to obedient school and loves participating in agility. Parker is very laid back and doesn't care what we do as long as he gets to be involved.
