FC: Little Anthony fights Podophobia
Little Anthony did not like feet. He didn't like his feet, his mommas’ feet, and not even his doggies’ feet. They flat out scared him.
One day at school Alayna, a little girl who liked Anthony, came up to him. “Hey Anthony look!” when he turned around he came face to face with her feet! Little Anthony started crying and screaming. Then passed out.
Later at home his mom asked him why he didn't like feet. He said how they scared him and he didn't want to be around them. Not even his own.
His momma thought hard about what to do. She tried to introduce feet to him slowly but that didn't help. That just made things worst. Something needs to be done.
She decided she would take little Anthony to the doctor. After some testing they came back and said he had Podophobia. “Podophobia? What's that doctor?”.
“Podophobia is a phobia of feet.” He explained. You don't like your feet or others feet. You don't touch them or want anyone else to. And I bet you always have to have them covered right?” “Yes!” little Anthony exclaimed. Wow this guy sure knows a lot he thought.
The doctor told him some things to try to get rid of his phobia. He could do Exposure therapy or Counseling. Neither of these use drug or were uncomfortable. He would just have to go talk to someone and go to a few classes.
So little Anthony went to a few classes. They seemed to really help. Him and the doctor played different games that helped introduce him to feet in good ways.
After a few weeks he was able to be around feet and not freak out. He still didn't really like them but he could stand them. He was really glad he went to the doctor. He made him a card to thank her. At the bottom of the page he signed with his feet print.
So when Alayna came back up to him again this reaction was way different. He told her she had pretty polish and this mad her mad. She stormed off and didn't show her feet again.
Little Anthony now goes through life care free of feet. He even went to college to get a degree to help people with podophobia. Hes glad he can help others like he was helped
