When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. ~Joyce Brothers
This is the moment I've waited for I can hear my heart singing Soon bells will be ringing This is the moment Of sweet Aloha I will love you longer than forever Promise me that you will leave me never Here and now dear, All my love, I vow dear Promise me that you will leave me never I will love you longer than forever

Our most treasured family heirlooms are our sweet family memories.
Great Grandfather | Someone must have known that I was lonely That's why they sent you to me from above I know someone must have heard me crying And gave me such an angel that I love | Who left the door to heaven open Who turned their head for a moment Who told you that my heart was broken And who left the door to heaven open Heaven just can't be the same without you I guess you must have been their brightest star And, tonight, I know the angels all will miss you But they know just exactly where you are (Dad sang this to his 'bonus baby', Beth Ann, since she was just a little girl)
I remember when his kids were young and my kids were young, he'd look over the chaos that ensued when they were all together and say...."make sure you take as many as you brought home with you!" – Debi
I remember me and dad visited grandpa and dad said ''max is a deacon.'' then grandpa said "when did we raise him??'' – Max
"Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mike's favorite quote from Dad
I just love when he would say "egle", instead of Eagle/ "begle" instead of Beagle (LaRen)
My earliest memories of dad were of a man with a mustache, in a hard hat who drove a pick up truck with a tool chest and cool looking metal things on the back that looked like missile launchers, but in reality, just carried lumber. (I was a kid with an over active imagination, whaddaya want?) He always carried a briefcase, which, more often than not, had action figures or some such toy hidden inside for me and my little bro. I remember that he wasn’t around too much during the week, he was usually on a job site, but he made sure that called us every night to make sure we knew the two most important things in the world: 1. ‘I’ll be home on Friday night’ and 2. ‘I love you’. My dad taught me how to work, he taught me respect and he taught me to love the Lord. I miss dad more than words can express. But, he isn't really gone. He is in everything I do. The same goes for all of my siblings, he is a part of us. - J.C.
My favorite memories of Dad are of our Saturday morning breakfasts' together. He made one mean Biscuits and Gravy that noone has ever been able to copy. I was always so enamored by Dad's singing voice. Sitting beside him every Sunday and hearing him sing the hymns will always be a distinct memory in my mind. -Beth Ann
The thing that I loved most about Woody was his laugh. When ever we got together he always had a big smile handshake and a laugh. I love him so – Ervin
"Be a friend to everyone you meet, and they'll see the spirit inside you." Some of Dad's best advice
Wrigley's doublemint gum! He always had some. He used to always wear a hat and have a pencil either stuck in his hat or behind his ear. He baptized me. Wish I had pictures. The last time I saw Grandpa I was told he probably wouldn't know who I was. I'll never forget seeing his face light up and him saying "Jessica!!". Thats one to cherish. -Jessica | Memories of Grandpa
Grandpa with his 'Beck Swift' (he grew up with a friend named Beck Swift, so upon hearing our name for Beckett, he found something that worked for him & it stuck!)
Grandpa & his Texas Baby Boy: Aiden | Grandpa & Baby Beck Swift
Well I'm headed out into the cruel, cruel world! – Cole | The Lighter Side Of Woody: Our Favorite One-Liners from Dad | upon entering a room with an odd smell to it: "who let loose a barking spider?" | "She looks like she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down" - Jill | To Announce He was Going to Bed: "Well Folks, I'm gonna go hit the tall and the uncut" | "She has freckles on her butt...she's pretty" | Good Morning Sunshine!
: “Our father has shaped us in ways we don't even know and these are things that we can pass down to our children keeping their memory alive.”
