S: My Hero

BC: remember me laughing! | the lord is good and was always good to me.

FC: My Hero | Timothy Wayne Dunkin from Mom, Kathy L. Dunkin

Tim, I want you to know how much I love you and what I pray for you. I made many mistakes but hope that you have been able to learn from them. Always know that you were a blessing to me and that God has a plan for you. Listen to the positives and let go of any negatives that you hear yourself say. I love you, Mom | Mr & Mrs Tim Dunkin

MY HERO | This picture makes me smile every time I look at it. Look at your eyes, Tim.

At the beginning of your life, you had it rough. People loved you but were not able to remain stable or control their addictions. Their behaviors had nothing to do with you. You should have had a stable and joy-filled life. | Always remember that Ron loved you. You are not in this picture because you were on the floor playing. The lady is Norma, our social worker with Lutheran Social Services. | J E F F

When you parent, please, please, please let joy flow from you. Do not get into a battle over wills. Discipline to make your child the best person s/he can be. Do it with love, prayer, and joy. The Lord will guide you. | Tim, Every stage that you went through, you were a joy. I was the type of parent who enjoyed the things you did that even got you into trouble. You were so creative and curious! Combine those traits and you get things like dental floss webs in the closet, soap in the ice cube trays, and underwear stuffed in the laundry room. While mixing cleaners, it was a miracle that nothing blew up! (But why keep the poor work slips hidden? You knew I'd find them. lol) | Or picking up buffalo poop... a real large pile! Grandma laughed so hard. You brought her joy quite often. | DANCER?

Deception Pass State Park We did have some fun times camping and traveling, picnics and family gatherings. You loved exploring the world!

Everyone Loved YOU! And still loves you!

 Enchanted Village

Nolte State Park | Wisconsin Lake

 Your picture

Fun memories are so important. There are many life lessons that take place while exploring the city, camping, cooking on a campfire, walking on the beach, fishing: sharing, positive interactions with other, praying, attitudes, problem solving, our own strengths and weaknesses, to value God's creation. Create fun, loving memories!

What I expected from you as a student in elementary school was for you to try your best and enjoy learning. I knew your attention span, distractAbility, and humor. I didn't want you to change. I wanted teachers to bend for you. Unfortunately, they didn't. So, we thought about having me home school you and concluded that you needed a classroom of peers. We moved to Idaho so that you had room to play and not be so restricted.

Be your child's respectful advocate. Get to know his/her learning style and personality. Help your child succeed, not according to grades but according to learning and doing his/her best. Find positives. | The Teacher needs to like you and Rachel along with your children.

Idaho could have been a fantastic life! You had experience in the store by stocking shelves. You helped with the gas station. You saw the hard work that some of us did. You had room to run but also expectations. Unfortunately there were too many negatives going on and that was not what was needed to teach you to enjoy life and work. Hopefully you were able to come away with some love of our time there...learn from the scary and negative. The Lord kept us safe.

As a parent, one cannot always protect your children but you can help them feel safe and secure and loved. Introduce them to the Lord and then show them what He does... verbalize it too. Children may not be able to understand what just happened but don't be afraid to say, "Wow, that was God helping us." | The more negative you are, the more insecure your child will be.

You were with me at every important part of my adult life. Including getting my master's degree.

READ YOUR BIBLE FOR WISDOM THESE ARE MY FAVORITE VERSES THAT HAVE HELPED ME THROUGHOUT CHALLENGES IN LIFE. THE WISDOM NEEDS TO COME BEFORE THE CRISIS Joseph's Life: Genesis 30 - 50 Bad things led to Blessings David's Life: I Samuel 16 - II Samuel, I Kings 2:10 Forgiveness, Unconditional Love, God's Holiness Gospel of John "The Disciple Whom JESUS Loved"

MORE WISDOM FROM THE BIBLE Proverbs Gives Wisdom for All of Life Psalm Is Full of Hope and Praise Jeremiah 29, 31:33 - 34 Jeremiah & Isaiah Show How God Interacts with People Philippians Joy in All Circumstances

From this...to this You have been my joy! | So CUTE!!!

So Proud of You and Your Choices | Life is often Hard Pray Listen Process Go Forward

I still can't say that correctly. lol

I was and am so proud of you, tim. | even if i can't say hooah. lol

This was so difficult for me... other people got their hugs first. but i knew you loved me and i knew that the lord had gotten you safely home. | one good parenting example. | The memories of Iraq will always be there. They are a part of who you are...use them to strengthen you and your faith. There was good that came and touched others.

continue to be supportive of each other | these are invaluable examples for your kids.

Team work is what makes the two of you unique | Remember to Worship Together, Pray Together, & try devotions.
