BC: Thank you so very much for taking the time to take a look at our family album. We wish you continued strength on your journey. With Sincere Gratitude, Adam & Ann
Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about our family. We want to take a moment to tell you that we appreciate your courage and are awed by your strength. We truly respect you and your difficult decision. Adoption is a gift that we have anticipated and shared with our children for many years. When asked why we first considered adoption, the answer is simply that we knew in our hearts that it was something that we were meant to do. Part of the desire to adopt stems from our passion in parenting...we just really love being parents! Another part comes from the strength of our marriage which is built on faith, love and friendship. We treasure our family and can't wait to share those family moments with another child. Our home is filled with crafts and cooking, holiday celebrations and plain old lazy days watching movies together or playing games. Weekends are spent enjoying nature trails with the kids, listening to music, cooking s'mores in the back yard and playing soccer and many outdoor activities together. Our family time is precious to us all and we consciously choose to spend the majority of our free time together, with friends and family. Although we do have a lot of fun we also value education and hard work. We try our hardest to create a balanced atmosphere where we "work hard and play hard." Travel is an important aspect to our lives and we enjoy showing our children different places and cultures. We eagerly await our vacations each year and we plan then together as a family. If we are chosen by you, your child will be welcomed with open arms (and doggie kisses:)) into our loving and stable home. He/she will be cuddled and cared for by two amazing big brothers who have to admit that they are thrilled with the thought of a new sibling. Your child will be embraced by our many friends. He/she will have aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins who can't wait to start creating memories. We hope it is obvious to you that your child will be cherished every single second of every day. It would be impossible to promise to you that your child will not face challenges in life. What we can promise to you is that we will always walk by his/her side as these moments arise. We will compassionately share your child's adoption story, celebrating his/her beautiful life, knowing there is a bond that will forever exist between the two of you. In closing, we want to thank you again for allowing us to share a little bit of who we are with you. We hope that you enjoy this album. Also, we genuinely thank you for having the courage to walk this path. We hope that our letter might provide some encouragement and hope for you as you continue on this journey. If you choose us to adopt your child, we will honor that decision and love him/her unconditionally with support and tenderness through the many stages of life. With Gratitude, Adam and Ann
FAMILY | This is our family. Perhaps we are missing someone else in this photo? There is nothing that would make us happier than to welcome another child and sibling into our nest. We have so much love to offer. Adam, Ann, Daniel and Stephen
"Families fill our lives with happiness and laughter leaving us memories to treasure today and forever after..."
We met while we were working together shortly after college. We started as friends and then began sharing lunches together. Our lunches turned into dinners and our dinners turned into an amazing lifetime together. | This photo was taken in St. Lucia. We sat on this mountain and discussed baby names. | Here's a little something about us, Adam and Ann....
This picture was taken on one of our annual winter ski trips with Ann's brother and family. | One of our boys took this picture after a basketball game in Milwaukee. The boys were teasing Daddy about wearing his Christmas scarf so much:) | A candid moment from one of our many work banquets together. Very fun times!
Adam is our protector and provider. He is daddy and coach, husband and friend. He is a lover of soccer and sports. He is competitive, yet gentle, confident, yet kind. He is our tent builder, swimming pool partner, storybook reader, co-soccer game watcher. He challenges us and comforts us, teaches us and plays with us. He takes pride in his career while taking time with his family. He is forgiving and faithful, steady and brave. He is our quiet strength, our home base, always dependable and forever loved. | About Adam... With Love, Ann xo

Ann is our rock and our home maker. She is mommy and teacher, wife and friend. She is a lover of cooking and crafts , animals and books. She is kind and empathetic and a faithful friend. She is class room mom, nature hiker, and Sunday school teacher. She keeps us all in line, while showering us with her endless love. She is charitable, working within our church and community and is a selfless giver to family and friends. She loves a good board game and quiet nights at home on the weekends. She is our foundation and the core of our family. Her faith, compassion, and love surrounds us , teaches us and makes us each better every day we share together. | About Ann, With Love, Adam xo
Our precious boys each have their own distinct personality. Daniel, our oldest son, is cautious and cerebral, silly and a peacemaker. Our youngest, Stephen, is competitive and compassionate, confident and courageous. They awe us and make us thankful every single day! | Our sweet Boys...
One of our many birthday parties at home with friends. | We have been like cousin's since preschool. | Halloween with neighbors. | Annual Halloween picture with neighborhood friends. | Neighbor fun! | Spring break cruise with friends and our parents. | Our neighbors and mom and dad's best friends for 13 years.
We have quotes like this throughout our home. The words gently remind each of us what is truly important in life. Our house is located in a suburban community, near a large metropolitan city, so we get to enjoy the best of both worlds. The families on our street are from various cultures and the children are from ages 1 - 17.
IS THE NICEST WORD THERE IS... Laura Ingalls Wilder | HOME | We chose our home town because of it's eclectic, small town ambiance. We're surrounded by beautiful horse farms and parks, baseball and soccer fields, bike trails, recreational centers, schools, shops and local restaurants. We moved here 13 years ago and we've never regretted our decision to live here. One of our favorite aspects to the community has been the many relationships we've been able to foster throughout the years. It's a close knit community and although we feel comfortable living our private life, we're always aware that we have an abundant amount of caring friends surrounding us.
The Nursery | This is how the baby room looks today. We wanted to know the gender prior to decorating. It's a gorgeous room with an attached bathroom. The ceiling is angled with the roof line. Perfect for a nursery.
We love neutrals and pale color combinations. It's hard to display a "neutral gender" room, but hopefully this will give an image of what we envision. Believe us.....this room will be spectacular!!!
This is Adam's Grandma and the boys' Great Grandma. She is really super fun and loves to go places with us. The boys say that she's the coolest Great Grandma that they could ever imagine. | Here is a cheerful shot of Ann's parents with Daniel and Stephen. This was taken on one of our many vacations. They are a huge part of our lives. We enjoy spending a ton of time with them and they've taught the boys so much about life, morals and love. | Grandparents make the world a little softer, a little kinder, a little warmer....
We are so lucky to have a family full of Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and 16 cousins (ranging from age 3 months to 15 years old). Ann has an older brother and Adam has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. We love filling our memory bank with special moments together! | Family | Top center is Adam's brother and daughter with our boys. Center, is Ann's brother and wife hanging out with our boys. And, above is Adam's sister Marie being silly with Stephen.
The cousins all being cheerful together after a long day of skiing. Even though we took this trip a few years ago, the kids all still talk about it! | The kids here were waiting anxiously for the shuttle to take them to Disney. This picture is Ann's brother's 3 children with Daniel and Stephen. | Adam spending time with his brother's daughter and our sweet niece Ava. | A most important First Communion day to remember. Our handsome boys and Stephen's Godparents (Adam's Aunt and Uncle).
We love spending time at the beach for family vacations. Our favorite past time is to go out on the beach at night and search for sand dollars. As we find sand dollars, we throw them back into the ocean. It's a tradition that we want to someday pass on to our grandchildren. And, a way to teach the kids about the beauty of nature.
Live well, laugh often, love much
