FC: OUR YEAR IN REVIEW | 2010
1: January 2010 | The first day of 2010 saw a puzzle extravaganza as Rob and JoAnn enjoyed hours constructing the Seattle skyline.
2: January 23: JoAnn, Rob and Dana fieldtripped across the Cascade Mountains to the elk winter feeding area to witness hundreds of elk pouring over the high hills to their winter feeding grounds. A few miles away, we saw two groups of Bighorn Sheep grazing their way along the foothills.
3: MAKING MEMORIES | Dinner at Perkins Restaurant in Ellensburgh
4: We walked down a cedar chip trail to a where the Black River opened up to a small lake with cattails, birch trees and mammoth cottonwoods.
5: We saw about three dozen nesting and fishing | along with teal, mergansers, buffleheads and goldeneyes. | April 4

7: EASTER | Mssing Larry | Nisqually Wildlife Refulge | April 18 | We walked the trails of the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge just south of Tacoma - another great place to see thousands of geese and other waterfowl along the river.

14: San Juan Excursions | July 24
15: We went to the San Juan Islands for a day of orca watching. We spotted a family pod playing under the cliffs just off Stuart Island and followed them for awhile in our boat as they headed for their feeding grounds.
16: July 21 The Long Beach International Kite Festival near the mouth of the Columbia was a colorful, neck-stretching event. There were musical dancing kites, kite fights, fantasy kites and a huge 50' high circle kite. | 1911 Pacific County Courthouse, South Bend

22: November 1: 6-hour seal pup babysitting again today in torrential rain. "ET" hauled out on the public boat ramp, normally busy with grouchy fisherman, but today it was just me, ET and pigeons.
