1: Did you ever wonder who Joseph Smith was or why Mormons build temples? It all started in the Pre-existence with our Heavenly Father where we chose to come to Earth, to receive physical bodies, and to obey His commandments. In return, we were promised prophets, priesthoods, the fullness of the Gospel, and the atoning sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we might return as families to live with Him for all Eternity. Told here is my allegory of earthly lives and trials leading up to the Dispensation of the Fullness of Time, ushered in by the Prophet Joseph Smith. | B. Jesse Nix, Sr. Woodbridge, Virginia 17 January 2012 2nd Edition 17 February 2012 | Cover - LDS - Restoration of the Melchizedek Priesthood, by Walter Rane. Above - Washington, D.C.
