2: Dad, Of all the jobs you've had throughout your life...

4: ...those of husband, father & grandfather are the finest of them all.

6: Dad, Thanks to your talents and your many hours of hard work, you built us a beautiful home in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. That home will always bring back wonderful memories of my childhood!

8: It's The Little Things In Life That Matter

10: I remember Mom taking these pictures of us before you left for the FBI Academy.

11: I always found it fascinating that you wrote in all caps. I love this postcard; it was when I was still spelling my name with a "Y".

13: Thanks to Shelly's heartbreaking plea for a puppy and your being a softy when it came to her, we ended up with the world's most amazing dog! | Arby

14: The Bruce family, our camping buddies, never could get over us liking our eggs fried in bacon grease. We had some wonderful times together...

15: except for the time mom wanted to surprise you with getting things set up before you got off from work. Look at me in that photo. Do I look old enough to help take a canoe off a car?

16: Poor dad, you were always trying to get someone to love going fishing as much as you. Remember the time you took Shelly to the sand bar when she was feeling sea sick? Or the day Fred McFaul went out, but not without first getting a shot from his wife. | Jenny Lynn

17: You and Jacob will never forget your experience of fishing next to the manatee.

18: J O Y | Meeting the McFauls at the summer FBI conference led to many fun times together!

19: Mom said, "Where's Hal?" Fred replied, "He's coming down the mountain and he's out of control!" | It was so exciting to see snow for the first time, learn to ski and skate and to cut down our first real Christmas tree.

20: November 23rd, 1994 your role as GRANDPA began. You were so excited waiting for his arrival, I thought you might find a way to be in the delivery room.

21: Grandpa's job is...

22: What are grandpas for? | Taking you to lots of fun places . | Spending quiet moments together. | Teaching you to drive.

23: Carrying you on his back when you've gotten hurt. | Surprising you with your 1st Taylor! | Taking you to Daytona Raceway to see Jeff Gordan's car.

24: Look who I have wrapped around my little finger.

25: Grandpa's job is..... | Little Tallahassee Lassie

26: Letting you get messy! | Giving you a reason to cover your ears. | Letting you take over their office!

27: Letting you get messy! | Having to buy you a TV because you "won the prize." | Giving you a reason to cover your ears. | Believing in your talents! | Showing you how to relax!

29: Every visit and plane trip brings with it incredible times with the two of you. Thank you for making our childhood extra special!
