3: Congratulations on your 90th year! We have a lot of great memories - the "Martha Stewart" family dinners, shopping trips to the Gift Center, decorating, Stinson Beach weekends, SACO Convention trips to Taiwan, our trip to France for my 50th birthday, and the summer family reunion in my backyard with the infamous keepsake photo. These are all memories I will never forget and will always treasure. Have a happy and memorable 90th. Love, Phyllis

8: Happy Birthday Mom! Your many talents have been inpirational for me over the years. You are an accomplished cook, artist, homemaker and now a creater of jewelry. Home, children, dachshunds, and friends have filled your life and you have had the wonderful experience of being a wife, mother, sister and friend. Now you are an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother of three. As you know, you amd dad have inspired me to have dachshunds in my life and it was with great pleasure that I was able to find and present Sienna to you. I can make a noteworthy apple pie thanks to your teaching! David and I remember fondly the many great family dinners and holidays that you hosted so beautifully and the time we spend at the ocean together - one of our favorite places to go. I still laugh how you got on the tiger eye necklace in Lantau on our trip to Tiwan and Lantau Island. Happy 90th Birthday Shirley, Mother, Mom, Grandma, G.G. With fond memories and love, Barbara and David

14: Dear Mom, The important thing about you is that you were always there for me. You are my mother. You fed me, bathed me, and loved me. You were my Brownie Scout leader and my taxi to riding lessons. You loved my children and never criticized my parenting. You shared your talent for cooking and were always willing to share recipes. But the most important thing about you is that you were always there for me. Happy ninetieth birthday! Love, Nancy | Mom & baby Nancy

19: My fondest memories of my mother are: shopping in Sausalito, going to chinatown in San Franscisco, Friday nights eating at the Traveler's Inn which started my love for Chinese food followed by a movie, taking me shopping at Macy's as a teen when I was depressed and then a visit to See's candy shop, her superb cooking, our vacation to Taiwan and having her as my best friend when I was a little girl. I would come home from school and she and I would sit on the bed and I would tell her about my day! I love you mom! Happy 90th! | Lisa

27: Grandma, Happy 90th Birthday! You’ve gathered a lifetime of memories and I hope these photos remind you of family and fun times. I recall fondly our travels with you and Grandpa – to Hawaii, our amazing European adventure of 1982, our Tokyo/Taiwan/Hong Kong trip There were always many laughs. I was recently reading through my journal that I kept during that trip to Europe when I was 13 years old and was laughing reading about when you took us on a fantastic night bus tour of Paris, the City of Light. We were all shocked and surprised to hear the local tour guide over loudspeaker tell us that we were heading to see a genuine Parisian striptease. We all squealed with laughter (except maybe Grandpa!) as we jumped off the bus. Now that I’m older, I truly realize what a special and rare experience that was to spend time traveling with my grandparents. And what a pure treat it was too! Thank you – I am so grateful for that time with you. You’ve inspired me to strive to be a good cook. You seemed to effortlessly pull together delicious family holiday meals. You were always exploring new recipes and eager to learn more about the art of cooking. I hope to be as successful and as accomplished in the kitchen as you one of these days! May you have a very happy and wonderful 90th birthday! Love, Megan

33: Grandma and Gigi, | I remember darling matching yellow and green dresses you brought back from China for my friend Leah and me. We loved those dresses and especially the fact that they matched. How kind of you to think of both of us. I remember staying with you while Leah and I attended a basketball camp. I remember you prepared yummy meals for us every morning and every evening and how spoiled we felt staying with you. I remember watching old movies and musicals when I visited you. They were special grandma-granddaughter afternoons filled with laughter. One of our favorites was the movie Gigi. I remember a beautiful bridal shower hosted at your house that meant the world to me. Everything for the shower was absolutely perfect-from your house, to the flowers, and of course, the food. I remember many, many family dinners and gatherings and the wonderful meals you always prepared. We have shared so many memories and I hope to share many more. Happy 90th Birthday, Grandma! Love, Kendre

34: Grandma, I remember cooking dinner with you in your kitchen and going down to the corner store to get steaks, potatoes and ingredients for homemade chocolate cake. You're the one who introduced me to the joys of making a home cooked meal. You also inspired me to have love of painting. I have the painting that I did at one of your classes hanging on my wall now. Thank you for these and all the other ways that you have inspired me. Happy 90th birthday Grandma! Love, Joel | Joel
