1: January | Paw Paw Joe Anderson created this little shed containing a wood burning stove with a pipe that connected to their house to help heat it. It didn't last long because it had an odor along with heating He is definitely an inventor at heart! Billy Slaton brought by a mule at the tack office and the kids got on to ride around.
2: denver market show | The gang (Jody, Frankie, Jackie, Lew, & Adrian) went back to Denver for the market show. Amy came in for a few days and they went to the National Western Stock Show.
3: Anna & Avery celebrated their 8th birthday with a campfire themed party. We roasted hot dogs & marshmellows, had a hayride & rode ponies.
4: February & March | Texas Day at school. Our cowgirl Savanna. | The kids goat had her baby. It was so darn cute! | Shane's new haircut - ready for some warmer weather. | Finally got this thorn out of Shane's leg.
5: Silly Boys | Jody brought back cute hats for the kiddos from a trip | Look! It's Michael Jackson.
6: April | A master falconer performed at the elementary school and Sherry, Jody and Amy came by to watch him perform. At one point, Shane was called up to help. He did so well for just being 3 years old.
7: Easter at His Kids Learning Center
8: Easter at Gran & Paw Paw's Because of the rain, we had to hunt eggs inside but still had a great time.
9: MAY | Jody was gone to the Western Heritage Classic in Abilene, TX so we spent Mother's Day at Jerry & Katie Voss' home. The kids put on a Mother's Day skit and had fun riding around in the Rhino
10: Savanna was a bug in the Kindergarten music program | Awards ceremony for AWANAS
11: Horse Sale at Bonham, TX. It rained & was SO muddy! | Fishin with Rody & BreAnna
12: Mrs. Maxton celebrated Savanna's summer birthday in the classroom before school was over. | May 22, 2009
13: Memorial Day We celebrated with family at our house. The kiddos had a great time.
14: This summer was so special for us because we took our extended family trip to Disneyland. Gran & Paw Paw left out early with everyone's luggage traveling by car, while The Vosses and The Daniels and us would meet them in California. We decided to leave a few days early and fly into San Diego to visit their famous zoo, then drive up the coast to meet the rest of the family to enjoy Hollywood and Disneyland. | JUNE
15: A real nice man Jody sat by on the plane ride to San Diego suggested a seafood restaurant for us to eat at once we landed. It was called Anthony's and was located down by the harbor where we could walk around and do some sight seeing as well. Viewing the harbor as we ate was a really neat experience.
16: SAN DIEGO ZOO The next morning we went to the world famous San Diego Zoo and what a great time we had seeing so many animals!
23: After a full day at the zoo, we made our way up the California coast to Disneyland. We stopped to get a view of the west coast and Pacific Ocean for the first time.
24: Los Angeles The next day we drove into Los Angeles to see the sights. We took a bus tour that took you all over the city. You could get off and on the buses at the places you were interested in seeing. We visited the tar pits, farmers market, & Pink's Hot Dogs. We started the tour at the Chinese Theater and got to see some stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A few days after our visit to LA, we learned that Michael Jackson had died - so glad we missed the traffic and hoopla that occurred from his death. I would have gotten more pictures, but my camera's battery went dead during the tour.
26: Disneyland What wonderful memories and a vacation that we will never forget! We spent most of our time at Disneyland but did go over to California Adventure for a day or two.
42: Fireworks EVERY Night!
43: While in California, we had to go check out the beach. The water was so COLD but it didn't seem to bother the kids.
46: Shane was so upset that he couldn't get his face painted (too expensive) so Jody drew a football on his cheek & he was so happy! Way to go Daddy!
47: The end of our Disneyland & California adventure. We were all tired but had a great time! Now back to reality.
48: July Good times spent at home. | Shane snuck into sister's room to try on her dress up clothes. | Jody brought back a Breyer horse that could be painted from one of his trips.

52: We celebrated Savanna's 7th Birthday with family at Pizza Inn in Sulphur Springs. She loved her Hannah Montana cake!
53: Back to School First day of 1st grade with Mrs. Bolin
54: Shane spent the Labor Day weekend with Gene, Sherry & Amber while Jody & Amy were at the Lufkin Horse Sale. | SEPTEMBER
55: We celebrated Big Granny Martha Hare's birthday at Mi Casitas in Mt. Vernon. We also celebrated Gran Pat Anderson's 70th birthday with a limo ride to Kyoto's Japanese Steak House. It was a fun night!
57: Our annual fall auction was a very wet one... there was so much MUD! Shane rode some horses in the ring while Savanna slept... trying to recover from a slumber party the night before. | Curled up with our new kitten Socks | OCTOBER
58: For Halloween this year, Shane was a cowboy & Savanna was Cleopatra | We trick or treated at Grandma Helen Stanley's house and then went with Aunt De, Rody, & BreAnna to the Carnival in Bogata

61: First grade field trip to the pumpkin patch in Pittsburg. There were so many fun activities for the kids to do. It was a great field trip!
62: Rody celebrated a deer camp birthday with family & friends.
