13: "We took the car on a ferry to Switzerland and got married there. I was 20 years old at the time."
14: "My first American job was at a supermarket. I knew only three words in English." | "My next job was stuffing dolls in NYC. I did so many dolls for them, I went crazy. The eight hour day seemed like eighty hours."

16: "My biggest dream was to take my wife and child and go on the farm in New Jersey. My parents helped me out as it was very expensive. I built my own farm. We had baby chicks. It was 1952. My daughter was 2 years old. I was the youngest farmer in Ocean County. It was 7 days and 7 nights. My wife took care of the chickens. It was very hard work" "I sold off my extra acreage. Then, I started buying real estate."
19: "Julie and I went to a motel in the Poconos. The owners said, 'We work very hard 6 months a year. Then we close the business and travel the world.' So, I bought 5 acres on route 70 in 1979 and I built a 24 room motel. It was a Best Western." "It took exactly 18 months; I made 107 rooms from the 24." "We had presidents & actors stay with us. I then bought a Ramada and the business has grown to 11 motels."
