We met up with Rich Greydanus for a delicious meal at Santropol and shared our rooftop patio (& wine) with him. | View from our rooftop patio

31: SanAntonio, Texas At the end of September, I got to go to an Academic Advising conference in SanAntonio. The weather was hot and sticky, but we still got a lot of sight-seeing in. The River Walk was Linda & my favourite place to shop & eat (& drink margaritas and mojitos...). We learned that the Alamo is a State Shrine, meaning that no other building is allowed to cast a shadow on it. | Remember the Alamo... | A Spanish Mission | The River Walk

32: Mom's 60th Birthday | For mom's 60th birthday, Shanna, Jared, and Jason all came home from out west. We hosted two parties for her: a family party at Richard & Tessa's, and an open house in Sarnia. Each was a smashing success.
