BC: The End
FC: Vella Family June 2008 to Feb 2009
1: Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories. CathyAllen | Year one with Sophia Rose Vella has been such an incredible experience for all of us. So much so, that we (mostly Christie) decided that we need another baby - ASAP! Sophia was 10 months old when we realized that we were, again, pregnant! Due this time in Feb, 2009! Again, we decided not to find out the sex! We have our boy name and our girl name!
2: Her SUPER second summer. Because in this house, birthdays last at least a week (sometimes a month), we couldn't let her first birthday celebration end with just one party (with over 50 guests). Sophia and Mommy planned a trip to PA for the 4th of July to keep the party going. They also got to host a fabulous wedding shower for soon-to-be Aunt Kristen!
3: @ Sophia's PA Baby Shower (hosted by G-G), everyone made onesies for her. Mommy's best and oldest friend, Sarah Gompers, made this one. When Mommy and Sarah were in 3rd grade, they had "Best Friend" necklaces and one said "Be Fri" and the other said "st end". So the onesie says "Every baby needs a Be Fri" :)
4: Kristen's Southern Wedding shower!
5: Sophia @ 12 months and already such a big girl! | July 2008
6: All things grow better with love. | We're having another BABY!!! Due in Feb 2009, but waiting to find out if it's a boy or girl. They'll be 19.5 months apart!!
7: Sophia @ 12 months, couldn't be happier about having a new sibling, just as long as they don't get in the way of her FOOD!!! | July 2008
9: Sophia's first steps and just in time! She is going to be the Flower Girl in both her Uncle Ryan and Uncle Matt's weddings in the next 2 months!
10: Ryan and Kristen's Wedding August 14, 2008 Whistler, BC, Canada Sophia was the flower girl and she started walking RIGHT before the wedding weekend, just in time!! All the Gundlings were in Canada for the wedding - what an amazing weekend!!!

Weight: 31 lbs, 2 oz (off the charts) Dome: 19 1/4 in (95%) She’s average for a 2 year, 3 month old. It’s not surprising to anyone since she’s been sporting 3T for a couple months now. | At Sophia's 15 month check-up (Oct 2008): Height: 33 3/4 inches (off the charts) Weight: 27 lbs, 2 oz (off the charts) Dome: 19 in (95%) Apparently, she’s not “big” anymore, she’s “huge” as the doctor said.
