1: "Adoption is more like a marriage than a birth: two (or more) individuals, each with their own unique mix of needs, patterns, and genetic history, coming together with love, hope, and commitment for a joint future. You become a family not because you share the same genes, but because you share love for each other.” ~Joan McNamara
2: We have been praying for you and your baby. Thank you so much for including us on this journey with you; this journey of love We feel humbled and honored to be considered to parent your child. Please know that we longed for and prayed about this very moment for months, even years. We have so much respect for you and recognize your bravery as you consider adoption for your baby. We believe that every living soul in this world was planned for by God, and your baby is no exception. Your precious little one is a gift from God; a blessing, special life that was knit together by the Creator Himself in the secret place of your womb. We look forward to showering this little one with extravagant love and we promise to you that this love and acceptance will be never-ending. Adoption is a celebrated part of our lives and we consider it a great blessing to have the opportunity to welcome a child into our home in this way. God allowed us to give birth to our oldest sons, Tristan, 16 and Austin, 15. We adopted our third gift, Kylar who is 2 and was born with bilateral Schizencephaly. He is our miracle child, he has a strength and determination that we admire. We love him with all our hearts and thank God for allowing us to be his parents daily. It is our prayer that this book would provide you with a glimpse into our lives and that the love we share would be evident. We invite you now to step into our world and we welcome you into our hearts.
