On the walk home that previous night, he had been reading from the Book of Mormon. Just before bed he had prayed to know if our message is true. So, he decided to give her long black hair. We were laughing so much! I am so proud of Vitaly. I feel like he is my brother"
10: "Fast Sunday, 2 April , 2006, Vitalik was sitting next to me so I encouraged him to share his testimony. He asked what he should say, I told him, 'You have a testimony. Go up and say it . . . so he went up! He told about the 2 occasions he felt the Holy Ghost. It was powerful!"

While watching him, I saw he was taking this seriously, pondering, and he is so thoughtfully mature. He is choosing the path to make temple covenants. He told me he had a little gift for me and gave it to me outside. . . one of his Russian name tags! He told me that is isn't much, but really, it is so precious to me! And, the best part, he was carrying my name tag, the old beat up one that I wore most of my mission which I had given him the night before I finished my mission.
