BC: No Matter how old or fat or ugly or skinny we get...The Foxy Trotters can say it has been a heck of a ride together. We have no regrets, and a whole lot of memories that we we can treasure while wheeling around in our wheel chairs! God Bless the Foxy Trotters! I love them all!
FC: Queen Sheena
1: The Foxy Trotters I am Queen Sheena. When I heard about the Red Hat Society I had to have my own group. I asked all my friends over 50 if they wanted to join me. We had our first meeting at Sherri's Dance Studio at 1358 S. High Street in Columbus on May 7, 2004. I mixed my current friends with some friends from my past. We came up with the name Foxy Trotters as many of us did ball room dancing. We decorated our hats and drank margaritas and celebrated Sherri's birthday. Hazel Gregg was our oldest member at 94 and I was the baby of the group and elected Queen which means I get to do most of the work and look out after my court! I don't mind...I love taking care of my friends and planning fun stuff for us to do. Through our journey we picked up new friends and we now have a group of around 20 and have had many incredible journeys together as Red Hat Sisters.
