1: Dear Expecting Parent, Our names are Angie & Greg, and we’d like to begin by thanking you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to view our photo book, and start to get to know a little about us. We know that you have hard decisions to make, and we respect you so much for that! If you choose us, we plan to talk with the child about your love for them, and the selfless decision to place them for adoption was for their best interest. We will stay in contact with you and share photos and updates. We promise you that if we are given the chance to care for and raise a child, we will do everything possible to give him or her the best life!
2: Angie has 4 older brothers, and that shaped part of who I am. I like sporting events, cracking jokes, and being outdoors. The neighborhood I grew up in also had plenty of girls for me to play Barbies & dress-up with too. I was lucky to have my Mom as a stay at home Mom, so that also helped balance me & my feminine side. So although I like fishing, and grilling, I also like shopping, scrapbooking, and being with my girlfriends! Growing up, my brothers & I played outside a lot. Everything from hide & seek, four-square, to sledding and bike rides. Our family vacations were always a camping trip. Those are still some of my best memories. Especially when my Dad would walk us over to the beach at night so we could the sky lit up with stars, and hear the waves rolling in. Speaking of great memories, I went to Catholic school until 8th grade and then public high school. It was great to have both experiences, but I enjoyed Catholic school so much, that I hope to one day send my child to Catholic school too. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with dual majors in History & Social Sciences. I work for an automotive research company. My job title is Administrative Coordinator, and that suits me because I’ve always been the planner & organizer. I keep the ship at home & work sailing! Greg & I met as we were both just finishing up college. We have a lot in common, so we always felt comfortable together.
3: Greg is a twin and also has one older brother, so finding someone to play or hangout with as a kid was never a problem. Growing up we spent a lot of time outdoors which has shaped a lot of my interest and hobbies I still enjoy to this day. Growing up next to a school there was always a pickup game of some sort going on, football, basketball or just hanging out on the playground. I played sports all the way through grade and high school and even played rugby in college. I was a Boy Scout for many years. It taught me a lot about hard work, values and respect. I enjoyed earning merit badges and all the camping and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I still like to go fishing, boating and hiking. I went to Catholic grade and high school where Art was my favorite subject. I followed my passions for art into my college years. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University with dual majors in Graphic Arts and Communications. I was fortunate enough to follow my heart and passions and turn them into a successful career. I started my career as a menswear fashion designer and am now Creative Director for a furniture design firm. I take pride in having a stable job and being able to provide for a new little one someday! Angie and I are a perfect combination, her passion for history and my creative skills and wood working hobbies blend perfectly. We are even restoring a historic home and putting interest into practice.
