1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thank to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. (NIV) | Preface Fall brings with it a chill in the air, the beautiful orange and brown color of the leaves, the smell of fireplaces heating homes, the brisk walks of shoppers, the excitement of football season, and of course the anticipation of the food fest of Thanksgiving Day. But, while we are inviting family members and guest to enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays with us, let's never forget to actually "Give Thanks" to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have so many blessings to be thankful for: my salvation, my health, my handsome husband, my two beautiful daughters, my lovely home and my wonderful church family! Please take this opportunity for encouragement as you read the testimonies of miracles, faith, healing, and breakthroughs as told by the H.A.T.Sisters’ Fellowship at Point of Light Church, our dear family members and some of our closest friends. Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy. Love, 1st Lady Danita Harris, Point of Light Church
Pastor Harris, Lady Danita, and daughter, Julia | The Tornado Aftermath
Lady Danita Harris, Administrator Kid's University Learning Center | The Miracle on Wintergreen Road The morning of Tuesday, April 3, 2012 started out like any other warm spring morning. However, little did we know that just a few hours later, four teachers, two parents and about 55 children would face the fury of an F2 tornado, which was headed straight for our child care center. As we all huddled in the safe room, the tornado immediately extinguished all light, sending us into complete darkness. While sitting in this darkness, the children were crying, but the adults were praying! The tornado’s impact literally peeled the side wall away from the room we were in exposing us to the 130mph twirling wind and the daylight from outside! But thank God, every child, parent, and teacher was safe! Not one Band-Aid had to be applied to anyone! Out of 22 confirmed tornadoes that hit the DFW Metroplex not one life was lost! Thank You Jesus!
This is exactly what happened. I kept my faith and believed that this was God driven. Today, five years later, I have an amazing church home where I am taught the word of God every Tuesday "Power Up" bible study and every Sunday morning. I am so thankful that I have a wonderful teacher, Pastor Julius Harris and Lady D, that teach a comprehensive way to apply the word immediately in my life and my children. My girls have grown spiritually; they have the foundational tools to make it and to do the right thing in life. I am so thankful to our blessed and highly favored Teentricity Directors, Minister Paul and Shantell Foulks. They have truly been there in so many ways, too many to list. The love and support that we get from everyone's words cannot be described. I give honor and thanks to everyone for being a huge part of my family's lives and may God continue to bless us and unify us in the Kingdom of God!!!!! Love your sister in Christ, Sis Lisa Warren and daughters Enjoli and Sataya Warren | My testimony is one of gratitude. I am so thankful and blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive church family. My girls, Enjoli and Sataya, and I moved to Texas on July 1, 2007. We lost everything we had in a moving truck fire. I was unemployed and destined to come to Texas and start anew. My theme song at that time was, "It's a new season, it's a new day, a fresh anointing is coming my way."
My testimony is about my move from Detroit to Dallas. My family moved out here due to my unemployment. I came to work for my sister and her husband. That didn't work out. Throughout my life I've had obstacles placed in my path, but I've always known that God would take care of me. I didn't lose faith; instead I embraced it and was blessed to find a good job. God also lead me to Point of Light Church and Pastor Harris; this was the greatest blessing of all! Hallelujah Sis. LuCinda Graham
A Day Of Thanks to the Almighty God | Psalm 136:2 | When I was 5 years old my parents exposed and began to teach me the principles of tithing and offering, sowing and reaping. Every since that time it is something that I try to practice. Little did I know the seeds that I planted as a little girl and throughout my adulthood would take me to a place of financial abundance at a young age. I graduated from college debt free in 2005 and afterwards, landed a fantastic job. In the interview the interviewee asked me what my goals were, and I told them I wanted to be the Vice President of my department within 5 years. At that time they had no such title. I was hired and in 2006 I was the first team member promoted to the Vice President of my department at the start up branch in Texas. During my time as a VP I traveled to Israel on several occasions, lived in New York for 3 months, traveled to various places around the globe and gained a tremendous amount of experience. God also blessed me and my family financially with a substantial bonus and allowed us to buy our first home at the age of 24. God nearly tripled my salary over the years at the company. Tithing is definitely something that I will pass down to my kids for it is the key that is linked to your financial blessing. God is faithful to keep his promises when you obey his word. I thank him for the wonderful things he has done in my life. | Sis. Christin Robinson
Oh give thanks to the God of gods, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.
 Psalm 35:18
My testimony is one of thankfulness to God for my husband who helps to keep me grounded and encouraged, supporting me from day one and looking out for my health and our family. I thank God for my children, Leah and Jordan. who give me joy in being able to teach them about God and his promises, and watch them grow spiritually as they learn to pray about all things and thank God for everything. Sis . LaToya Gillam

From wheelchair to walker, from walker to cane, From difficulty swallowing, no appetite and pain, Pain in my body, pain in my soul, dark days of despair feeling as if few did care. From doctor to doctor, with few answers you see, I turned to the Master, Gods word and promises were the key. I continued to pray and confess Gods word every day. I stayed in his presence and the symptoms started to fade. I had to cast down imagination, walk by faith without hesitation, and decree the declaration of God’s word which is true. He has raised me up, this evidence you see. His healing power is still flowing to and thru me. I give God glory, honor, thanksgiving and praise. My life will never ever be the same. God is my healer, my strength and strong tower, a very present help that we all need in this hour. Sis. Charolette Gillam

Giving Thanks For God's Word Every morning I am blessed to have devotion with my sister and I am learning so much about God's Love for us. I am just thankful for the Word because if I didn't have it I would still think that God loves like we do as human beings. His love is unconditional. He understands us, even when we don't understand what we say or do. I love God so much and I now can appreciate the Word when it says that God is Love. Thank you Lord for Your Word! Sis. Crystal Price
