1: Christmas 2010 A Christmas To Remember This year was Alexa and Eli's First Christmas. As is our tradition we went to the children's mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and then headed home to celebrate Christmas Eve with Ami, Russ, Madison and Brody. Ami, Madison and Memere had fun playing Jenga. With nine grandchildren we had a lot of gifts to set out so Russ was a great help when he set out 7 bookcases, an easel, and a lot more gifts before going home to wait for Santa to arrive. On Christmas Day we all gathered for a traditional turkey dinner. Antie Cole stopped by to join us for dinner. I made "Tourtiere" Canadian Pork Pie. Eric asked why I hadn't made it more often in 40 years. It was delicious and brought back wonderful memories. .After dinner our children and grandchildren surprised us with a Christmas show. After the last bible verse was read Darisse said "OK presents." We all had a good laugh and it was chaos from then on!
2: Christmas Play 2010 Act 1: Song: Val on piano and Belinda on guitar Ami and Renda: You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen. But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all? Children: Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. . . . . . . . . Then all the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history. Act 2: The Christmas Story Madison: Read The Christmas Story Other Children: Gather around and listen

And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. Luke 2:8:9 Carter: We have seen His star in the East, and have come to worship Him. Matther 2:2 Brody: And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." ~ Dr. Seuss
