7: The Mass was conducted at Holy Redeemer until 1968, when the church was closed because of the I-35 interchange through St. Paul. While Minnie was alive, the gathering took place at Holy Spirit, then St. Matthews, and then St. Ambrose for 25 years until it closed in 1997. Since 1998--the 75th anniversary Mass--the event has been held at St. Stanislaus. The priests also have become part of the tradition. Fathers Pioletti, Pingatore and Forliti are the only Celebrants in almost 90 years. Families take turns hosting and setting up the brunch in the church basement. Many hands make easy work. Potluck dishes give a nod to Italian favorites and new tastes.

It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before.
