FC: Jack and Sarah's Trip to Ireland | April 2011
1: Ah, Ireland....Rick Steves calls it seductive, and aye, that it is... We praise God for his gracious provision to allow us to have taken this wonderful trip! Ireland is truly magical. From our first night, at Ballaghtobin outside of Kilkenny, the Ring of Kerry, the Aran Islands, to Whitepark House in County Antrim, our trip was a delight. Our favorite place to stay? We liked Ballaghtobin, Greenmount House, and Whitepark House Our favorite meal? Definitely at Kilkieran Cottage Our favorite drive? The Kerry Peninsula Jack's favorite memory? Climbing inside the pipe organ in Derry! Sarah's favorite dessert? Whiskey cheesecake at Bushmills Most exciting moment? Jack playing "chicken" with an oncoming vehicle and knocking the side mirror off the car! Yikes! Most spectacular view? Either at the summit of the Macgillicuddy Reeks, the sunset over Dingle harbor, looking over the cliff edge on Inishmore Island, or sighting Scotland off the northern coast. I say... If you're lucky enough to go to Ireland... you're lucky enough!
