FC: Welcome to Nebraska (a photo journal of our 1st year in Omaha)
Love is what brought us to Nebraska and the dreams of what we knew we had, became a reality here. It was a cold move from Orlando in January of 2010 for me, and a trip back to the US from Korea, for Sean. Neither of us had ever been to Nebraska, but have found it to be an awesome home where amazing, life changing, and exciting things have happened for us. This is our first year in photos which involved a lot of traveling in and out of Nebraska. Enjoy!

We toured the Pentagon, the Air Force Memorial, The 9/11 Memorial, golfed with Sweet, saw Rich & Ferry, and Sean got his fix of all you can eat crab legs on the water!

For Sean's birthday I took him on a Dinner Cruise on the Missouri River. Then his parents came into town and we went to the zoo and out to an amazing brunch at Upstream down in the Old Market. Later in the month Alane came for a visit we went hiking in Fontenelle Forest, to a Royals Baseball Game at Rosenblatt Stadium, and went to the Maha Music Fest! 11: August 2010 | Tubing at Niobrara with Ashten, Stephanie, Mooney, Bekah, me, and Sean | Valentine, NE
We took an amazing road trip across the Rocky Mountains! We started our trip in Denver. We rode bikes downtown, went to a food and beer festival, painted Denver skylines together, and visited the Coors Brewery in Golden. After dinner in Boulder we drove back into the front range of the Rocky's to Estes Park, CO where we spent the night. "I hear you in there" :) | August 2010
We started off the second morning of our trip with a horse back ride through the Rockies, this was my very first time on a horse. It was beautiful. Then we got some lunch and both ate Elk Burgers. Then we started the trek through Rocky National Park, we hiked waterfalls, surfed out of the moonroof, saw elk and their group of elk ladies, we heard them calling out to them. It was mating season. We also stopped alongside the road to see a moose! We drove to Pikes Peak, too! I love the mountains.
 August-September 2010
The night that we made it to the other side of the Rocky National Park we ended up camping alongside this lake. We arrived at our camping destination after it was dark and this is what we woke up to. We awoke to our tent snowing on us it was so cold. Luckily, against Sean's wishes, I packed heavily and we had plenty of warm clothes and blankets. We were the only tent camping in the place alongside two RV's and you could hear the coyotes howling in the mountains and the stars felt so close.
We left the lake in the morning in CO, and went golfing in the mountains, then onto Sulfur Springs and sat in Hot Springs for the afternoon. Then we cruised through the rest of CO into Utah and camped alongside a river that night. | We woke up the next morning and had some breakfast at a village in and continued across Utah on our way to Salt Lake City, the most breathtaking view was when we came around a bend and you were looking over a cliff at Salt Lake City, it came out of nowhere and it was so beautiful. We immediately made our way to the Great Salt Lake where we floated in the Great Salt Lake as if we were weightless. That night we met up with Audrey and Logan and had some dinner by our hotel. | September 2010
Sean looking like a little old man with salt dried on his face.
 September 2010 | UTAH
Isn't this view ridiculous? It was beautiful. This is in central Utah, close to where we ran our full marathon. We got into town and went and played some desert golf at a gorgeous course, with the bright green fairways against the brown desert. We relaxed the next day and walked all the way around the lake at our campground. We also ate some pre-race Pizza Hut! | The race was gorgeous. We were running through the plateaus through the desert, along cliffs, dinosaur fossils, and cave writings. It was worth the pain, then after the race we soaked our feet in a cool stream after the race. It felt good!
Sean and I went to Kansas City for the Worlds of Fun Halloween Celebration, a Jacksonville Jags game, and for Sean to eat at one of the Man vs. Food restaurants in Kansas!!! | Carving Pumpkins @ Home | Don't forget Cass & Russ came to visit!

Our very first Christmas tree together! | December 2010 | Happy Tractor Ride! | My little lumberjack.
December 17th, 2010 | I said Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! | Sean surprised me by writing his proposal in the fence of our house! He was being weird all day always checking on me, where I was, what time I was going to be where. I drove up around the wrong side of the house. I was supposed to drive up across the front of the house, but I drove up around the corner and he was at the end of the driveway on his knee. I got out of the car and he proposed, I was trying to look around him to see what the fence said then I realized what was happening. It was unreal! So romantic! Of course, I said YES! That night Sean made me a Korean dish and we drank a bottle of my favorite wine. What an amazing night...
We spent the beginning of December celebrating our engagement and preparing to travel for the holidays. We packed the animals up and went to my family's for Christmas Eve, and then went to Orlando on Christmas Day to spend it with the Osborn's. Sean and I were able to see some friends and look at some possible locations for the wedding! We got to have dinner with Alane and Chris in Lakeland!
2011 | We spent a quiet New Years Eve at home. We had Mooney and Chelsea over to play games and watch the UCF vs. Georgia football game! We loved in the New Year alone together.
