32: After visiting Grandma Cindy and Uncle Mike at their house in Bear Creek, Zach came home with three new friends. We released them into our front yard.
33: Zach loves to create with his Legos. All the Legos are stored in a big gray tub that he would dump on the ground and spend hours constructing buildings and vehicles.

44: Labor Day weekend, we drove to Hockley, to the Showboat Drive-in Theater and watched """'The Smurfs' and 'Spy Kids 4'
45: 2011 Art Car Show Sunday, October 2 We had a great time looking at all the "'interesting' cars on display. Zach's favorite was the fighter plane, while Alexis' was the hippo. Other unique cars included a sock monkey, Elvis' blue Hawaii and a peacock.
46: One afternoon, we decided to take a drive down to Galveston Island, and spend the afternoon fishing and flying a kite on the beach. We didn't catch anything, but the man next to us caught a shark.
48: Zach had a Yoda kite
49: Zach, Grandma Betty & Alexis visited the Houston's Children Museum. We Learned about the eco-system, various jobs, and grocery shopping. Zach's favorite part was 'water works' where he got to build irrigation systems.
52: Vegas Baby!!!! October 17-20, we took our adult only vacation to Las Vegas. We stayed at New York New York. Chris spent a lot of time gambling at Wild Bill's Casino and Alexis spent a lot of time shopping at Ross. We did have a celebrity siting, Alexis was standing next to Holly Madison at Planet Hollywood and didn't even know it! Some of the restaurants we ate at were Dick's Last Resort, Cabo Wabo and Cheeseburger Paradise. Everyone had a great time and left broke.
54: By far the best thing we saw were the fall decorations at the Bellagio. Everything was made of something natural. There was this huge talking tree that totally freaked us out when it started talking to us as we walked by. There were several pumpkins that weighed over 300lbs and a cornucopia that was over 6 feet tall.
57: Being part of the fire department requires a lot of training, part of that training is the flashover chamber. At Lone Star College a flashover chamber has been built out of several cargo containers. Inside hay and wood is set on fire to mimic a fire flashover. In addition to watching Chris train, Zach had fun learning how to gear up and playing on the rescue dog course.
59: Luke Skywalker and Zach This year Zach FINALLY got his very own dog, after wearing his parents down of course!
60: For Mrs. Sealy's class, Zach had to do a book report and decorate a pumpkin that represented a character.
61: Engine 2 made it's maiden voyage to our house. Ryan and Ben came over to show us the new fire truck.
