1: 2011 brought life and death into our family. Chance was born April 23, 2011 and Angie's dad, Norman Bruce Birch died, September 1, 2011. 2011 at a glance. | Love At Home
2: Jan. 10, 2011 - Preston working with Daddy to remove the snow from the driveway. Yes, this was a snowstorm in Georgia. | Snow Day

6: Chichen Itza, Mexico
7: We rode on a bus for 2.5 hours to get to the Mayan ruins. It was a very hot day and Preston was a "trooper" walking in the heat. We were amazed that this ancient city could be found in such a remote area of Mexico.
8: While mommy took naps during the day, Daddy and Preston spent time at the beach enjoying the sand and the waves.

14: Preston's first year playing baseball. He had the opportunity to play with his cousin, Addison. The two of them may not have hit any home runs this season but they enjoyed playing on the same team. | By the end of the season, Preston understood that he needed to run to first base before he could run to second or third base. It was a learning season for Preston and a "painful" season for Daddy.
15: Preston was so proud when he finally won a medal for the best individual performance during a game.

18: Chance Thomas St. Clair was born on April 23rd, 2011. | . | Angie's water broke early that morning around 5:00 a.m. | An hour into the delivery, the doctor recommend-ed a C-section. | While Julie watched Preston, Jeff took Angie to Northside Hospital in Atlanta. | It was later discovered that Chance had a really big head that made a natural delivery impossible.

23: Preston was so excited to know that he was going to have a baby brother. When Chance finally came, he was one of the first people to hold him and welcome him into the world. | Chance and Preston | Brothers | Friends Forever
24: While Mommy was recovering at Northside Hospital from the delivery of Chance, the family held Easter at the St. Clair's home which included dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt. | Preston was "quick as a rabbit" as he ran from place to place collecting the candy eggs. This year he was able to search for the eggs on his own and needed no help finding where they were hidden. | Egg Hunt

28: A Florida trip to visit Aunt Jenie down in Tampa that Julie and Angie took without their husbands. Two newborns and 3 toddlers were packed into Julie's van. (5 car seats) | Tampa, Florida
29: T-Rex Cafe, Downtown Disney, Florida | Preston loved the meteor showers. | The meteor showers came every 15 minutes. | The restaurant was full of prehistoric dinosaurs.
35: Chance loved to spend time in the shower and having the water gently hit his face and body. Jeff had to hold him tight because Chance loved to move while is was being held under the water.
36: Preston's first Father and Son's Camp-out with the Suwanee Ward at Victoria Bryant State Park. | He loved everything about the camp-out which included, spending time with Daddy, sleeping in a tent, hiking, and cooking marshmallows on an open fire pit.

38: Preston loves to play in the water fountains at the Suwanee Towne Center on hot summer days.

44: Preston, Jack, and Addison enjoy playing in Julie's backyard in the mud. Turn on the hose, strip down to your underwear, and get some dirt wet and you are sure to have a good time. These three did. | Mud Bath

53: Norman Bruce Birch July 6, 1929 - September 1, 2011 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith...." - 2 Timothy 4:7 Norman was born in Salt Lake City, UT on July 6, 1929 to goodly parents, Tessar and Elizabeth Bevan Birch. He married Joyce Sainsbury on September 30, 1954 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Prior to his marriage, he served a two year mission for the LDS Church in North Central States Mission and then went on to earn a bachelor's in business from the University of Utah. After graduation, Norman severed as a corporal for 2 years in the U.S Army. He spent his entire business career working for Union Carbide before retiring in Dunwoody, GA in 1984. He and his wife Joyce had 10 children; Brad, Sheryl, Shelly, Terri, Stacey, Cindi, Angie, Lindi, Jenie, and Julie.

55: Before the funeral, the family met together to pay their final respects to a Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather. He was a great man who will be missed.
57: Brad, his son, and the brother-n-laws carried the casket to the grave site. It was a raining day and I thought it was because the heavens were weeping for joy on his return home.
58: Preston's first day at Shadowbrook Baptist Day School for the new school year. He was entering the 4 year old class. This being his third year going to Shadowbrook, Preston was eager to see his friends and the staff who knew Preston well. | First DAy of School
60: Fishing with Dad
61: Preston fishing in Tampa, FL. with Daddy. They used hot dogs for bait and walked to a local pond that was close to the Hunter's home. The only thing the boys managed to catch that day was a snapping turtle.

64: Chance enjoying some tummy time. At this age, he is able to roll from his stomach to his back and return to his stomach at will. He will not learn to walk until his 13th month but loves the freedom of being able to move his body back and forth. | Preston sharing the camera spotlight with his brother. Chance loves to spend time with Preston and Preston loves to make Chance laugh. Here, Preston successfully taught Chance how to roll from his stomach to his back and back again. The two made a game out of the event.
66: Burt's Pumpkin Patch
69: One of our family's favorite thing to do in the fall is to go to Burt's Pumpkin Patch with a picnic lunch. Among all the pumpkins, the kids look for the perfect pumpkin to carve with Daddy.
70: This was Preston's first pumpkin carving with Daddy. The inside of the pumpkin was filled with spaghetti like slim that both Preston and Daddy did not want to touch, let alone pull out. | T
71: Chance enjoyed the show from afar. He was amazed that two people could be so wimpy about carving a pumpkin. | Pumpkin Carving
72: Halloween Night
73: For Halloween the Birch Family tradition is hot soup and warm scones. This was Preston's first year Trick or Treating and mommy enjoyed all the candy he collected. | Halloween with the cousins, Preston decided to be a Pirate this year while Chance was an unhappy pumpkin. He could not wait to remove the pumpkin hat from his head.
74: Preston's 4th Birthday
75: Preston turning 4 today. | "Which car should I eat first?" | His birthday was mini cupcakes in the shape as "Car" characters. | Addison and Preston enjoying moving their fingers on the road. | Preston had no trouble blowing out his candles even though they were spread among the cars.

91: Grandma and Shelly came for Christmas breakfast before church. Afterwards the family opened the gifts. Looks like Santa thought two little boys were good this year!
92: Christmas was hosted at the Marzzarella's home this year. The St. Clairs singing Jingle Bells for their musical performance.

94: This year the kids enjoyed breaking open a piñata in the shape of a boot.
95: Mommy was in charge of the Christmas dessert. She decided to do a chocolate buffet. The family loved it. | There were cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, reindeer pops, See's chocolates, chocolate cookies, chocolate strawberries, chocolate trees, etc.
96: Jeff and Angie are very blessed to have two beautiful boys that fill their lives with love, happiness, and adventure.
