1: Comic book characters are apart of our mainstream pop culture. They are the source of countless hit movies and television series. But did you know that all of their stories have the same place of origin...the Comic book store!!!
2: STEP 1 Pick what kind of comic book you wanna read. There are all kinds of comic book genres to choose from that deal with all kinds of issues. | STEP 2 Decide what comic book company you want to collect from. The two biggest and most well known comic book companies are Marvel and DC.
3: STEP 3 Once you choose a comic book compare the prices to your budget.
4: STEP 4 Decide on weekly comic book purchases or... | ...waiting for the trades which collects several issues.
5: STEP 5 If you decide to collect a comic book based on a character see if you want to keep up with one title or more.
6: STEP 6 Decide whether you want to subscribe to get your comic book or visit your local comic book store.
7: STEP 7 Comic books are treasures. Take the proper precautions to keep them from getting damaged or ruined. The 3 keys to proper storage are : bags, boards, and boxes
8: STEP 8 Keep an ear out for local comic book conventions. It is there you can find comics of all kinds cheap and if you're lucky possibly rare.
