1: The iPhone 5 is and example of price skimming when it came out this year because it was introduced with a really high price.
2: Honda is an example of Product Line Pricing, because their new cars range from $10,000 - $40,000.
3: Telus is an example of Penetration Pricing when they come out with a new cell phone they have a good deal with it.
4: Gellette shavers are an example of Captive Product Pricing because stores put the razors on sale but not the blades.
5: Payless Bogo is an example of promotional pricing because their advertisement is their promotion.
6: Best Buy is an example of Loss leader pricing because they have door crasher sales in order to bring people into the store to buy other items as well as the ones on sale.
7: Sobeys uses psychological odd pricing to make people think things are cheaper.
8: Scalping tickets at the Blue Jays game is an example of opportunistic pricing because the scalpers can make profit off the tickets and the buyers get an opportunity to buy them last minute.
9: Subways sub of the day is differential pricing because the sub of the day is cheaper on certain days.
10: Wendys $1.89 menu is price lining because all of the items are the same price.
11: Remax uses negotiated pricing because the original price can be talked down.
12: McDonald's uses combo pricing with some of their food, it is cheaper to add a drink and a pop to you're meal than to just buy a drink or fries.
13: Home Depot is an example of interest free because they have an 18 month interest free loan.
14: The Keg is an example of psychological even pricing because they price their meals at round even prices to give a fancier image.
15: Alcohol is an example of geographical pricing because its cheaper in the states (based on where you live).
