5: The United States of America was founded on the concept that everyone is created equally. After gaining independence from Great Britain, and in creating a new constitution the United States goal was to abstain from one person controlling the whole country. Instead, the country was set up to equally distribute power and keep a balance between the branches.

9: In 1707, the United Kingdom became a political union with the Treaty of Union which stated that the United Kingdom shared a single constitutional monarch and a single parliament. From the 1200’s the United Kingdom tried to limit the power of the monarch starting the Magna Carta with King John. Since then, they have developed a balance between the houses of parliament and the monarch creating a balanced and equal monarchy.

13: Mexico, being the site of many American civilizations, has a government heavily influenced by the United States. Mexico wasn't an independent country until the 19th century, and since then it's had a slow growing democracy. Their federal republic system has been built on the united states with many aspects the same, such as the national level sharing power with elected legislatures in each of their states.

21: In the 1830’s, Greece received independence from the Ottoman Empire, and during the 20th century it was temporarily ruled by Italy and Germany. After becoming fully independent, Greece became heavily anticommunist and fought against communist rebels. In 1970, Greece was taken over by a military dictatorship and forced the king to flee Greece, and eventually a parliamentary republic was established, abolishing the monarchy.
