S: Summer Escapade 2013: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando
BC: There will always be noise, chaos, and drama when you cram ten people into a car. This trip was a very special one because Lan and Hong were finally able to travel together. We flew across the country to Las Vegas, to sightsee. We were fortunate to watch David Copperfield in action. Then, we drove our 12-passenger van to Los Angeles, where we visited Hollywood and our family friends from Tan Chau. What a blast! Then we flew to Orlando, where we explored Disney World and SeaWorld. Then we boarded the Disney Dream, a majestic fleet, to the Bahamas. Join us on our escapade. - The Tran Family | SUMMER 2013:

Unlike many others, our family went to Vegas to sightsee. Haha no penny was lost to the casinos what-so-ever! Aren't we a strange- looking bunch? | Las Vegas
. | There were so many attractions to see. The Mirage Volcano and Bellagio Fountains were exceptional at night. | We were lucky to witness our favourite magician at work. David Copperfield continues to wow his audience with his charm and shocking illusions. | The Sun was unforgiving, beating down our necks as we trotted along the infamous Strip. | Jet lag was a major issue for all of us. We arrived at the Toronto Pearson Airport around 5 am, flew at 8 am and arrived 9 o'clock Vegas time.
We were surprised with the cool atmosphere in LA. There, we were reunited with many of our old family friends. | We visited many attractions such as Universal Studios, Phuoc Loc Tho, and Manhattan Beach. | Los Angeles
Movie Magic:Universal Studios | At Universal Studios, we re-lived infamous Hollywood movie moments as King Kong, Optimus Prime and the Jurassic dinosaurs came to life.
 Visiting Old Friends
 Orlando | WDW: Magic Kingdom
We hopped off the plane, checked-in to our hotel and headed straight for Disney World (a.k.a every child's dream). We met many of our childhood friends including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Peter Pan, Snow White, Belle, and Ariel. Although half-asleep, we managed to have a magical day promenading through Magical Kingdom and Epcot: The Land of Tomorrow.
At Sea World | "SHAMU! SHAMU! SHAMU!", the crowd cheered as the killer whale flipped in the air. Wow! It was amazing to see these animals perform. Overall, it was a magnificent show with bright, booming fireworks and loud rock music. What a blast!
Aboard the Disney Dream | Ahoy there! Everyone was excited to board the majestic Disney Dream. There were many port adventures and food to enjoy.
Land ho!! We arrived at Nassau early in the morning, grabbed our passports and ran off the ship. There was not much to see except for shops. For girls, that's not too shabby...
WIth our spare time, we decided to pose in front of the Dream. These make great postcards!
Aye aye, Captain! Its Pirates Night! All passengers headed out to the deck for a night of dancing, fireworks, and pirate-themed fun. Our red bandannas added the perfect touch for the occasion. Don't we all look like beauties? Arr!!
OMG! It's Castaway Cay!!! | Sun, sand, and sea.. we've reached Disney's Private Paradise. The water was blue, warm, and clean; perfect for an afternoon swim. After our swim, we headed over to the BBQ. It was a perfect day!
It was our last night on the Disney Dream. The night was chaotic: there was dinner at the Royal Palace, rushing to take last minute photos, and a late- night movie: Disney's Lone Ranger. By early dawn, the ship had docked and all passengers were to leave. With heavy hearts, we departed. It was a beautiful cruise experience!
Exploring Orlando | WDW: Animal Kingdom
Our escapade slowly came to a stop. It was time to leave the United States and head home. Although tiring, it was extremely fun. Then again, when you cram ten people into a car, fun is never far behind. Until next time.... - The Tran Family
