6: Lunch at the CQ cafe. Started off with the waitress spilling coke over Dan and swearing profusely. Food was a Greek platter with grape leaf rolls and lamb kebabs. Entertainment was the lorikeet eating sugar packets at the next table

22: Sat July 30: Hunter Valley Wine Tour with "no filter" Nigel, from Activity Tour Co.,who kept telling us how Activity tours had the number 1 wine tour! First stop was for coffee at Oliver's. Then it was off to Savannah Estate. Australia's national tree is the Wattle, from which they get the yellow and green colours.
23: 2nd Winery aka Cellar Door: Iron Gate Estate owned by Roger who was a chemical engineer before he got into wine making. | Bought a couple of bottles of wine plus bubble wine bags so that we can carry the wine in our suitcases.
24: Lunch at the Hunter Valley Gardens. Deli sandwiches, cookie and chocolate tastings, more wine tasting and a flight of beer for Dan. then onto to the Stinky Cheese shop- yum.
25: Ernest Hill Wines More great wines and beautiful setting. Dan couldn't resist the sticky wine.

28: Start of the Bondi to Bronte Coastal walk. First stop the Bondi Iceburg Swim Club | Looking back to Bondi

30: Well earned brunch at Jenny's. Eggs, spinach, sausages, smoothies. | Caught the bus back to Bondi and spent the afternoon relaxing .

32: Qantas flight to Auckland | Monday August 1 | Last look at Bondi
33: Tuesday August 2 | First day in New Zealand. Went for a drive out to Kawakawa and Waiti Bay, via Clevedon Oysters.
