Dear Isaac and Silas, We wanted to document our trip to the Australia Zoo especially for you. As you turn through the pages, it should be like you were there with us following the map above and seeing what we saw as we saw it. Love, Aunt Angela and Uncle Troy
We only had the afternoon to be at the zoo so the only show we made it to was the 2:00pm Afternoon Crocs LIVE

Koala Island | There were 2 Koala Islands that we saw where the Koalas were resting from people petting them and being close to them.
We were able to feed the Kangaroos and walk around with them freely. There were quite a few females with baby joeys in their pouches. It was so neat to see.
 Echidna | Wallaby
There were life sized portraits and tributes to Steve Irwin all over the park.
Elephant | Red Panda | South East Asia
Frankie was the koala on duty for petting or what they call cuddling. She had just received a fresh batch of eucalyptus so she was a bit active and preoccupied. Frankie's fur was very soft to touch. | Koala Walk
We were fortunate enough to catch a rare glance at this baby koala also called a joey. | Frankie is looking Uncle Troy over wondering why he is disturbing her supper. | There are very strict rules to cuddling koalas. Each Koala is on duty for only 30 minutes a day and gets every 3rd day off.
