32: Blake has been such a joy since we brought him home from the hospital. He is so laid back, he was able to comfort himself right away and would fall right to sleep once laid down in his crib. It was so fun to watch the bond develop between Blake and Bryson. Since early on his bedtime routine has included Bryson singing to him. Even from a young age they would giggle together and share special moments. It didn't take long for Blake to become mobile. By 5 months he was rolling all over the place; squirming out of the Bumbo chair and swing by 6 months; fully crawling around 8 months; and was taking several steps by his first birthday. He put everything in his mouth, so combined with being mobile we really had to watch him closely as he was so curious. Blake would get easily distracted while nursing, which resulted in being completely weaned by 9 months. Separation anxiety from Mommy began at a young age. He has no interest in the church nursery or being held by anyone other than Mommy. Around extended family, Blake prefers the females over the males. He takes after Daddy and loves to cuddle. Blake gets so excited around dogs! He absolutely loves animals, trucks, eating, and other kids. He wants so much to keep up with older brother. He is a little aggressive but is so proud of himself when he is "gentle." We love our little guy!
