Mr. Huey & the show calves | Mama and Aunt Susan took B and the girls to Montgomery to watch Mr. Huey and Mrs. Alicia's children show their calves. Bennett didn't like the calves at first but finally warmed up to them. Then he wanted to ride one. | March 13, 2010
Spring Break 2010 | We went to Atlanta, Georgia for Spring Break 2010. We drove to the American Girl Store and ate lunch with Kit and Josephina, Kathryn and Caroline's American Girl dolls. Bennett made the best of going to a girl store by playing with all the doll accessories. He played baseball (golf style), he tried to ride the dolls' horses, and opened box after box after box of doll clothes. After lunch we rode the carousel that was at the mall.
Fernbank Museum Atlanta, Georgia | The museum had an interactive science area where the girls played with the interactive exhibits. They liked making giant bubbles the best. Bennett's favorite thing was the Dinosaur exhibit. There were huge models of dinosaur skeletons that were three stories tall. Parts of the exhibit had actual dinosaur bones and fossils. Bennett walked around the museum acting like a dinosaur. | March 16, 2010
The floor was made of tile that contained fossils of prehistoric creatures.
Zoo Atlanta | After spending the night in Atlanta, we visited Zoo Atlanta. We had fun watching the animals, petting the sheep and goats in the petting zoo, and playing on the animal statues. | MARCH 17, 2010
Our little cubs | The zoo's lion and lioness chose to ignore us.
TUMC Easter Egg Hunt | Ready, Set, Hunt! | Bennett had a good time hunting eggs. He knew eggs-actly what to do this year. Find all the eggs possible... as fast as possible. | April 3, 2010
 Easter's Finery | April 4, 2010
Easter 2010 | After church we had lunch at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house and had a big Easter Egg hunt with all the cousins.
student driver | Some friends of Maw Maw and Paw Paw gave Bennett a Power Wheels Jeep that their grandson had outgrown. We definitely need to give Bennett and the girls driving lessons before we let them out on the road!
 Catch that Jeep!!
Bennett found a bag of books that belonged to Mama when she was a little girl. He loved looking at the books and asked everyone to read them to him over and over and over. | Reading Mommy's Books
Memorial Day May 2010 | We went to Sara and Kenneth's house to celebrate Memorial Day with family and friends. Bennett did not make it inside the back yard because he saw the horses next door. It was just a few minutes before he had talked Anna, the next door neighbor into letting him ride the horse.
 Should have been a COWBOY!
Paw Paw got in trouble when he taught Bennett how to sneak up behind Maw Maw and shoot her with the water gun! | YUM!!! Homemade ice cream
 Pick-in' & Grin-in'
 Air Guitar Master
Bennett's 3rd Birthday The day before his party, Bennett said he wanted a Bull Rider Birthday cake. Mama searched all over Opelika for a bull rider toy to put on top of the cake. There was no bull rider to be found. She found a picture on the internet to use as the inspiration.
Uncle Jackie came over before the party to give Bennett the present that he and Mrs. Yo had carefully chosen for Bennett's special day ..... a bale of hay, a molded, plastic steer head and a real cowboy rope. I think he might need a few lessons.!!
Make a Wish | Caroline, Ryan, B, Emily, Shae, & Kathryn
Bennett loved his bull rider cake | Thank you, Mama.
Bennett had WAY too much help opening his presents!
 On GUARD!!
 Sword Fighting with Uncle Randy
Bennett had so much fun with his new swords. Uncle Randy was brave enough to sword fight with B. No one sitting in the den was truly safe when the swords were slicing through the air. At one point during the sword fight, Uncle Randy turned his back on Bennett. As soon as he realized that Uncle Randy was not paying attention, Bennett whacked him across the behind with his sword.
FORE!!! I'm not so sure that teaching Bennett how to play golf in the house is such a great idea. | ROAR
Maw Maw, Paw Paw & T-Rex | Daddy-O | Pictures with the Birthday Boy | Aunt Kathy
So Sleepy | After we got home from church, Bennett played for a little while and then climbed up in the chair to see what Mama was doing. He got comfortable and fell asleep. | October 17, 2010

Hey Good Lookin' What Cha Got Cookin'? | October 29, 2010 | Bennett and the girls help Aunt Tammy make biscuits for breakfast.
ORANGE FEST | Our church and another church in Opelika hosted a Halloween alternative called Orange Fest. The event had pony rides, inflateables, a hay ride, music, and "trunk-or-treating". We hosted a trunk called "Buck-a-Roo Ranch". We used the ropes and the steer head Bennett got for his birthday and let the kids try their hand at roping a steer. Bennett's favorite activity was the pony ride. He didn't really want to let the other children have a turn on the pony. He also thought that he had to have his hat on to ride the pony. I guess a cowboy is never fully dressed without his hat!
While children were trying to rope the steer that got out of the pen, Bennett climbed on top of the straw bales. He threw his free hand up in the air and began rocking back and forth. He's got bull rider running through his veins!!
Rolling Toomer's Corner | After Auburn defeated Alabama in the 2010 Iron Bowl, we took the kids to participate in one of the oldest traditions at Auburn University -- rolling the oaks at Toomer's Corner.
Bennett did not enjoy his first experience of joining in the celebration after an Auburn victory
Tis the Season | While the girls put up the Christmas tree, we were visited by "Joe-sup". Who knew there were so many uses for garland?
Christmas Morning | Bennett sleepily walks into the den to see what Santa brought. | Bennett was thrilled to get presents. After he opened each gift, he would ask if there was another present for him. B got an air hockey table, several puzzles, and an Auburn football uniform
Bennett also got leather chaps and a leather vest. Now our little bull rider will be decked out in the finest cowboy attire. | Maw Maw and Paw Paw came over to wish us a Merry Christmas and bring the kids' presents.

December 29, 2010 | Visiting with Aunt Evelyn | Bennett, Shannon, Caroline, Aunt Evelyn, Lyn, Kathryn, Daddy O | Aunt Evelyn and her daughter, Lyn Gibson, cam down from Birmingham to visit us a few days after Christmas. We always love to spend time with them. Aunt Evelyn is the first cousin of Daddy O's father. She introduced Oscar Jones, Sr. to Katie Johnson. They fell in love, got married and then had three children. Daddy O was their first child. I guess you could say that Aunt Evelyn is the reason we are all here.
