FC: Graphic Design Fay Posas
Life at 35 At the age of 35, I hope to be an accomplished graphic designer, interior designer, and photographer. I hope that my skills will have elevated enough in order to have been promoted and given a higher pay without going back to school for a bachelor's degree. As for the working environment, I don't want to be stuck sitting in an office or lab all day. I'd like to be moving around and possibly have others working under me. Also, I'd like flexible hours so I can spend time with the family I'll most likely have formed by 35.
Five Negative Actions 1) Drop out. 2) Not get any form of college education. 3) Slack off. 4) Get pregnant. 5) Procrastination.
Five Positive Actions 1) Graduate 2) Get a diploma. Not just a high diploma. 3)Apply for loans/grants/scholarships. 4) Set goals. 5) Never give up.
Do you know someone who dropped out of high school? I do. My significant other dropped out of his "11th" grade year. He moved to another state the year prior, and because of that move, his new high school didn't fully receive his credits. Aside from that, he was already supposed to be a senior, but Waddell also messed up his credits. He got tired and felt like he was never going to graduate, so he dropped out. He soon got a job but realized the stress and bills it brought with it and how he needs a degree to get a better. He was able to get his GED and wants to go to some one kind of technical school for a diploma in graphic design as well. His problems have affected me. Obviously I want what's best for him. I hate seeing him get stressed and sometimes angry because of the stress.
What makes me unique? I'm very art-oriented even though I don't always feel like I have enough talent to measure up to real artists. My style and personality revolve around the arts. I love music, reading, writing, and editing media. I also love the art of tattooing and piercing. Even though many of my teachers try to convince me I'm more of a college and book-smart kind of person, I feel like that isn't the life I was made to live. I want to meet all kinds of people and allow myself to step out of the safe zone enough to express who I really am. That's why I'd like to focus more on building my photography skills as well as my editing skills. I love experimenting with colors and designing things from rooms in someone's home to posters. I've also been told that I have the skill of being able to work with anyone, no matter where they are from or how they act. I feel like this skill is one that will get me very far in life, not only in the working environment, but as well as my personal life. I'm also all about doing what makes me happy and not caring about the highest paying job. As long as I have enough to pay rent and live a stable life, I'm good.
Success: Success if finding something you're happy and passionate about. Basically, what you do for a living shouldn't feel like work.
What may impede me on my quest? | Money. Not having enough to continue my education. Especially when my first priority is to move out.
Anxiety of fear that may affect my future... Definitely feeling like I wont make the cut. That I'm not as talented as others out there.
When I was little, I used to dream about going into the medical field. First it was cardiology, then dentistry, and finally ve
