Daddy is a special man He's truly one of a kind One can search the world over again But men like him are hard to find There's not many men In this world today Who always gives a hand shake And has a kind word to say Most are too busy In their own stride of life And they don't even make time For their kids or their wife My Daddy is different From the men mentioned above He finds the time for each of us And gives us his love He's always been there for me Through thick and through thin And I know he will continue to be there Until the very end Written Father's Day 1999
It has been a while Since they have gone To be with Jesus In His heavenly home. Sometimes it hurts We miss them so But it was time To let them go. We watched them suffer And cry out in pain We know now that our loss Was heavens gain. We had them with us For many precious years They were here to comfort And calm our fears. Now they are with Jesus Walking together hand in hand They are hurting no longer While enjoying His beautiful Land. IN LOVING MEMORY OF SELLS AND LULA MAE WALKER
This Church was built from bottom to top By people who love Jesus and Pray a lot They Prayed for strength and a guidance too So they could undertake this task God gave them to do They worked hard each day from morning to night Knowing when they finished it would be a beautiful sight People worked on weekends and almost every night Trying to make sure they did everything right There were people dusting pews and some sweeping the floor When they finished each task they would ask for more From the youngest to the oldest each did his part They gave their all they gave their heart
Jesus is th Rock On Him I will stand No matter where I go He is there to hold my hand Whether I'm down in the valley Or up on the highest hill When I stop to look around He is holding my hand still Though your valley may be dark With no light in sight All you have to do is ask him To guide you through the night Things will happen to each of us That will make life hard to bear But guess what my friend Jesus Christ is still there There are the times That help us to see Without Him, Where would we be?
Days of childhood burning free Free as a bird singing in a tree Not having a single care in the world Sometimes I wish I were still that same little girl Playing outside in the dirt all day That's how we would pass the time away Making mud pies, cookies, cakes and all It was so much fun we were having a ball Little did I know I would grow up one day and not have much time to run and play
The death of our loved ones we may not understand We just have to know and realize it is all in God's hands. Though our tears may fall and hearts may break He never puts more on us than He knows we can take. He knows of our heart aches and the sadness we bear We just need to lean on Him for He really does care. God is waiting to wrap us in His loving embrace And is longing to see a smile back upon our face.
