2: What are some situations beyond the classroom where knowing how to take good and fast notes could be useful?
3: There are many places beyond the classroom where knowing how to take notes is important such as work meetings, college, and seminars your work sends you to.
4: In what situation would the Cornell Method of note taking work best?
5: Some jobs require fast note taking and the Cornell Method to me seems to be the fasted way.
6: In what situation would the Graphic Organizer/Mind Map method work best?
7: When you have one major idea and subtopics with data to back it up such as the weather meteorologists need to represent there data in an easy way and the graphic organizer or mind map would be perfect for that job.
8: In what situation would the Classic Outline work best?
9: Making your grocery list quickly before you go to the store this classic outline would work perfectly for this task.
10: I prefer the classic outlines over the other two because, they are easier to make and you can take notes i think faster than the other two.
11: Which of the 3 methods of note taking do you prefer and why?
12: Which do you prefer when it comes to learning reading words, hearing words, or looking at pictures?
13: I prefer reading words when it comes to learning over hearing the words and looking at pictures because I can then review the word and see how to pronounce the word and it also helps me to memorize it better than the other two.
14: How do you remember things?
15: I remember things by reading what it is and what it’s about.
16: Do you study? Why or why not?
17: Yes, I do study. I study because I feel that it is very important for achieving my academic goals that I have set for myself in life. I also study because it improves my grades and helps me to do better on the tests. Studying allows me to learn the taught material.
18: Why should you study?
19: You should study because it helps you to learn the material that was taught and that it will help you to achieve your academic goals you have set for yourself. Studying will also allow you to do better in school as far as grades go.

21: Some study skills are taking notes, test taking, doing homework, and studying
22: Identify at least one Study Skill that you need to improve.
23: I need to improve on the study skill of taking notes because I am not that good at it and I don’t like taking notes anyway.
24: Identify at least one Study Skill that you are good at and need to maintain.
25: I am good at doing my homework and I need to maintain this skill to get through my school years successful.
26: Name and define 2 character traits of Lou Gehrig. Explain how Lou showed these traits.
27: One character trait that Lou Gehrig had was his trustworthiness. This means the The personal state or quality of being trustworthy or reliable. He showed this by showing up for every game and never missing a game either. He also had the character trait of fairness. Fairness is conformity with rules or standards. He did this by playing by the rules of baseball and playing the game fairly.
28: Pick someone you know and write 2 paragraphs explaining why that person shows good character.
29: When I think of good character I think of only one person my Dad. There are many reasons to why my dad shows good character. My dad shows good character by being honest. Another way is that he respects others around him. He also has a good sense between right and wrong. He also acts appropriately in about all situations. My dad is also very nonviolent and doesn’t use bad langue. He also works extremely hard at the best of his ability at his job and everything he does. He also has many qualities that make him a man of good character. These qualities are trustworthiness, responsibility, fairness, he’s caring, and has citizenship. My Dad is a man that shows great character.
