S: Road Trip June 2010
This week in June 2010 turned out to be one of the best vacations ever. It would not have been possible without the two of you. We will cherish the memories of this week and hope you enjoy recalling them too with these photos. We love you both ! Mom & Dad PS: Let's do it again !
It all started here, Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. Your mom had not been on a plane in over 20 years. The text messages were nuts. Every few seconds everyone sitting around us would hear, "new message!". Everyone shes knows knew she was about ready to board and was texting to say, "stay calm", "don't worry", "are you OK?", "you will be there in no time". I think the people around us were starting to think that she was some big shot. But it went without a hitch, we boarded, found our seats and the flight was great.
Pitfire Pizza! What good pizza, wine and fun. Even if the waiter did drop of bottle of beer on us!
The first leg of our trip took us to Ojai. The town that I know you guys want to move to someday soon. What a beautiful place this is and we can't wait to come see you here !
Our visit to Castoro Cellars was picture perfect. It was a beautiful day for the picnic that we enjoyed. The lunch that you guys packed could not have been better !
After a really good dinner at Robins in Cambria we settled in at the Cavalier Oceanfront Resort in San Simeon. It was so cozy. It was a little cold that night but sitting on the beach by the fire warmed us up.
 Hearst Castle
Watch out for tires in the road ! Good driving Katie!
Yosemite | "This part of the trip for me was a dream come true. I have always wanted to visit this park to just take pictures. I was not disappointed ! There is so much beauty everywhere you look. "
 The Wawona
What can we say about the Wawona? I'm sure we will laugh about it in the years to come. It was full of surprises for sure. But in the end we had fun and lots of laughs. The food was very good especially the breakfast brunch. And you gotta love the bathroom down the porch and to the left. :)
