FC: Day Two | Pray that your husband would safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationships with the opposite sex. Pray that his heart would be undivided in his commitment to you. For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life, to preserve you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the adulteress. For the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, but a married woman hunts down a precious life. Proverbs 6:23-26 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. Romans 13:14

1: Day Three | Pray that your husband's relationship with the Lord would develop and bear fruit in his life; that he would be a man of wisdom and understanding, fearing the Lord. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn from evil. Proverbs 3:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. Proverbs 9:10

2: Day Four | Pray that your husband would handle finances wisely and be a good steward of what the Lord has given you. Pray that money would not be a source of discourse in your home. Keep your lives free of the love of money and be content with what you have. Hebrews 13:5 Do not wear yourself out to get rich. Have the wisdom to show restraint. Proverbs 23:4

3: Pray that your husband would be humble and agree with God about his sin, that his heart would be tender toward the voice of God. | Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! For I know my transgression and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment. Psalms 51:2-4 | Day Five

4: Day Six | Pray that your husband would grow in leadership skills to provide for and protect you. Pray that he would lead your family wisely and love you sacrificially, bringing glory to God with his decisions. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her... Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives. Do not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:19

5: Day Seven | Pray that your husband will work hard to provide for your family. Pray that the qualities necessary for a successful career and ministry life would be part of his character - persistence, decisiveness, an analytical mind, organizational skills, positive relationships with others, determination, etc... | Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

6: DAY EIGHT | Pray that your husband would be faithful to his wedding vows. Pray that he would make a commitment to cultivating your relationship as a sign of his loyalty to you, and as a picture of Christ's love for the church. Many a man proclaims his own steadfast love, but a faithful man, who can find? Proverbs 20:6 Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Genesis 2:24

7: Day Nine | Pray that your husband will love righteousness and hate wickedness. Pray that he will recognize, avoid, and take a strong stance against evil. The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it. Proverbs 27:12 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. John 17:15

8: Day Ten | Pray that your husband would cultivate strong integrity. Pray that his testimony would be genuine, that he would be honest in his business dealings, and that he would never do anything he feels needs to be hidden from others. | The righteous man leads a blameless life. Blessed are his children after him. Proverbs 20:7 Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Ephesians 6:10

9: Day Eleven | Pray that your husband will have a humble, teachable spirit. Pray that he will listen to God and desire to do God's will above his own. Pray that he would understand that's God's will is always best. | The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Proverbs 15:33 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways, submit to Him and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

10: D A Y T W E L V E | Pray that your husband would speak in a way that breathes life into you and your family, and brings glory to God. Pray that he would avoid language and jokes that go against what brings God glory. --------------------- The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

11: Day Thirteen | Pray that your husband will choose healthy, God-honoring activities. Pray that he will not live in bondage to any questionable habits or hobbies, but that he will experience freedom in holiness as he yields to the Spirit's control. | No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs - he wants to please his commanding officer. 2 Timothy 2:4 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 6:12

12: Day Fourteen | Pray that your husband will have an eternal perspective - living his life in light of eternity. Pray that he will reject materialism and temporary things and put God first in his life. | Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul and with all of your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5 | Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 | Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you as well. Matthew 6:33

13: Day Fifteen | Pray that your husband will yield his mind and thoughts to the Lord, that he will not entertain immoral or impure thoughts, and that he will resist the temptation to indulge in pornography. | The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. Proverbs 27:12 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

14: Pray that your husband will practice forgiveness in your relationship and with others. Pray that he will recognize any roots of bitterness, and yield any resentment and unforgiving attitudes to the Lord. | Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 | See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12:15 | Day Sixteen

15: Day Seventeen | Pray that your husband will have a balanced life - that he will balance work and play. Pray that he will fear God, but also gain favor with people he knows at work and church. | And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52 Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard. Proverbs 13:15

16: Day Eighteen | Pray that your husband will discover and live his God-given purpose. Pray that he will offer all his dreams to the Lord, and pursue only those goals that will bring God glory and count for eternity. | For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

17: D A Y N I N E T E E N | Pray that your husband would be a man of prayer. Pray that he would understand the importance of prayer and pursue a relationship of depth with Christ. | Pray continually. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

18: D A Y T W E N T Y | Pray that your husband would serve God and other with pure motives. Pray that he would obey the Lord from his heart, and glorify Him in everything. | He who speaks on his own (without the guidance of Christ) does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. John 7:17-18

19: D A Y T W E N T Y O N E | Pray that your husband will yield his sexual drive to the Lord. Pray that your sexual intimacy together would be fresh, positive and a constant reflection of selfless love. | Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Proverbs 5:15 | The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 1 Corinthians 7:3 | I belong to my lover, and his desire is for me. Song of Solomon 7:10

20: Pray that your husband would choose his friends wisely. Pray that God would bring him men who would encourage his accountability before God, and would not lead him into sin. | He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17 | Day Twenty Two

21: Day Twenty Three | Pray that your husband would enjoy being a man while patterning his life after Christ and strong men of the faith. Pray for his physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual strength. | I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. - Ephesians 3:16 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. - 1 Peter 2:21 | These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 1 Corinthians 10:11

22: Day Twenty Four | Pray that your husband would be patient and a man of peace. Pray that he will not give in to anger but will allow the Holy Spirit to control his responses. | Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace... Romans 14:19 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12

23: D A Y T W E N T Y F I V E | Pray that your husband will learn how to relax in the Lord and, in his greatest times of stress, find joy and peace in his relationship with God. | So do not worry...your heavenly Father knows what you need. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31 | A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Psalm 16:11

24: Day Twenty Six | Pray that your husband would be a good father, disciplining his children wisely and loving them unconditionally. Pray that his actions and his life would constantly point your children to Christ. | Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 | Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 11:18-19

25: Day Twenty Seven | Pray that your husband would be courageous in his stand against evil and injustice. Pray that he would protect you and your family from things that he knows will lead you away from Christ. | Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 | Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground... Ephesians 6:13

26: D A Y T W E N T Y E I G H T | Pray that your husband will understand the importance of taking care of his body - the temple of the Holy Spirit - for the glory of God. Pray that he will practice self-control by making wise food choices, and get sufficient exercise to stay healthy. | I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1 Cor 9:27 | Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body. 1 Cor 6:19-20

27: Day Twenty Nine | Pray that your husband would surrender his time and talents to the Lord. Pray that his spiritual gifts would be used in his career, at church, and in your home. Pray that he would use his gifts in light of eternity and bringing glory to God, the giver of all gifts. | Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10

28: Pray that your husband would understand the gravity of his responsibility of leading your home and being the prime example his children look to, as designed by God. Pray that he would take this seriously and seek God's guidance in all things. Pray for yourself, as you support him in his leading your family. Pray that you would breathe life into him and encourage him in this difficult charge. Pray that God would use you, as iron to sharpen iron. (Proverbs 27:17) | Day Thirty
