FC: ANNA | Emily Vaughan
There is no adolescence in Greece. You go from boy to man... girl to woman.
Anna was born in Greece. Anna's parents are afraid of Anna becoming an American, but she is trying to rescue them. In Greece, mythology came first, before religion. Anna likes to go on new adventures, which is why she liked going to America because it is adventurous. "All day long, six days a week, my father washed dishes, my mother and my sister sewed."
My life was similar to Anna's life. | When i was little and i moved into a new house, i went to a new school and i didn't know anybody. and everyone already knew each other. I felt like i didn't fit in and that i was different than everyone else. That is how Anna felt, that she wasn't like everyone else, because she came from Greece.
“Reading makes immigrants of us all. It takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.” | Jean Rhys quotes (West Indian Novelist. 1894-1979)
