Land Ho! The Spanish Conquistadors had to pay for the voyage, think about what they wanted to do and think about how they will build new civilizations. The Spanish Conquistadors were the first Europeans to settle in the Caribbean. We found the place we call the new world in 1518,for many days we looked for a city of gold, named El Dorado. After, many days of exploring we found what we call Florida. Three days after of exploring Florida hundreds of us had died. We then sailed back to Spain to tell Queen Isabella about our discovery. | You Wouldn’t Want to be a Spanish Conquistador

How will you pay for the voyage? Conquistadors got money from many sources. We the conquistadors got funding from Spain to travel to the new world. Some of us also got funding from Portugal. We got paid to search for new lands by high class citizens. Finally we got paid to set up supply stations along the coast of Hispaniola and Florida. After, getting the money for the voyage we started getting the supplies. | How Will You Pay for the Voyage?

What is Your Main Goal? | What is your main goal? The conquistadors had many goals on their voyages. Our main goal was to get new gold, silver, spices and land for Spain. We got the gold and silver by making natives mine it out of the Earth. We tried to but couldn’t find new exotic spices for the king and queen of Spain. Finally we took land by force, we decided to take this land because The Treaty of Tordesillas said this was our land to take.

How Will You Build New Civilizations? | How will you build new civilizations? The Spanish Conquistadors built new civilizations in many ways. One way the we built new civilizations is, they encouraged Spanish citizens to move to the new world. The second way the we built new civilizations is, they set up land & labor arrangements up called Encomiendas. Encomiendas a system in which settlers received a plot of land and native servants to help around the plot of land. The last way the we built new civilizations is,by telling settlers that the more important they are the more workers and land they get. These are just a few of the ways we built new civilizations.

Conclusion | Holy moly, land! We the conquistadors were the first to settle in the Caribbean sea. The year we found this new world in1518.The first days we were there we searched for a city of gold named El Dorado. After, having no success we found a place we call Florida. After three days of exploring Florida our battalion started drop like flies. Finally we sailed back to Spain to tell the queen about our discoveries.
